  • This month, I am taking a look at some of the options for getting perfect 1/4"seams on your patchwork projects.

      @consolw I use a lot of post it notes ...they're also good when pattern cutting for labeling , right side etc x

    I’m sewing flannel and have my walking foot on. I’ve positioned my needle at 7.0 and running my marked line down the metal edge of the foot. I love to know about all the “new” foot options though.

    I love the fact that Janome offer so many different options for different tasks. I love the clear view foot but like you I tend to use this without the guide . My favourite quarter inch foot is the HP foot and HP plate .

      @anneroe5545 unfortunately the HP foot /plate isn't compatible with my Atelier. I had one on the 15000 though and loved it for piecing!

    I'm trying to watch on a phone and maybe that is the problem, but I really couldn't see much of what you were talking about.

      @kimmcvitty3580 try a bigger screen. I'm trying to show the actual machine screen for settings as well as the needle position so not so easy to get super close!
