Family Weekend at George Fox University - Living One Day Today!

Went to George Fox Family Weekend to visit my daughter!! Such a special time to just soak up her life in her new home and get to experience it for ourselves. Thank you Fox for giving us a gift worth more than all the words I can express!
⭐️Some of the things we got to do⭐️
Observe Shianna at work: working on the set at Wood Mar for the “Oliver!” performance
Take a backstage tour of the set and hear about all of their hard work and how it was made!
Attend Fencing Club (for which Shianna is the Vice President)
Experience the Musical performance of “Oliver!” 3 times (Shianna & her friends did AMAZING! We loved every single moment!)
Have brunch with Shianna on campus
Take Shianna out for food & coffee (to make sure she still ate whenever she missed the meals on campus)
Meet some of Shianna’s friends and hear from some of the “Oliver!” cast about their own experiences in theater, and learn more about the production
Take a quick shopping trip to buy a few things that we noticed she was missing in her dorm
Snap a few photos on Halloween of Shianna and Evangelina in their costumes, before we said goodbye and left for our drive back home 😭
Seriously though. Last weekend was both a privilege and a blessing. So thankful that we got to experience a little bit of Shianna’s life at George Fox University!!
