"Christ comes to live inside of you before baptism." This particular statement is concerning because it's very much incorrect, and indeed, you shared no biblical passage to back it up because one simply doesn't exist. The eunuch passage you shared is not even an ounce of evidence of that. If you read the history of the Primitive Church, you'll notice that the ritual of baptism in the water would often times include public confession, followed by attempts to identify if the person needed exorcism, then baptism in the water, then baptism in the Holy Spirit. All in one sitting. The Spirit of Jesus Christ living inside of us is the very definition of the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and it's the only time Christ comes within us. Without the baptism in the Holy Spirit, the believer will struggle a ton more to overcome sin, to have a deeper understanding of God's Word, and to resist the devil's attacks exactly because what empowers the person to overcome these things, the Holy Spirit, isn't inside that person yet. It's very simple. Water baptism is an external confirmation of your profession of faith in Jesus, of your belief in Jesus as the savior of the world and your Lord, and a public confession of your surrender and commitment to Him with your life. I've seen demons manifest in people right when they're about to be dunked. The Holy Spirit is obviously not in them yet even though their confession for Jesus was genuine. The baptism in the Holy Spirit is then the sealing of that decision of faith you just made, by bringing the Holy Spirit inside of you as an "empowerer" for successfully living a sanctified life. It's a deposit of the guarantee God has now given you to be a co-heir with Jesus in the riches of eternal life as stated in Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 4:30, 2 Corinthians 1:22, 2 Corinthians 5:5.
