"I had no doubt the Skirmishers could be trusted. They are just like me. The only real difference is that they didn't have Tygan to remove the ADVENT chip." - The Commander
Ah, yes. XCOM is a franchise I never had the opportunity to approach beyond the casual level. To be able to learn about its lore through your works might be the best possible primer for a deeper relation with the IP. The work itself was great, as always; short, simple, clear. Even though I had no much context before, I feel I had no issues grasping the basics of the concepts presented like the elders or their organization. By the by, very refreshing to see a franchise in which aliens are just accepted by unless an specific group has a direct, very bad, relationship with them.
"The life has left them!" In my opinion one of the best lines. I find it slightly sad that while in lore the skirmishers are a very power unit In game they are more complicated to use effectively as the other class and some of their abilities don't function properly still they are effective. Can't wait for my 2nd fav class(Reapers are my first) "I will tear you apart"
It's amazing that @Christopherodd was donated footage for this since he's a very passionate xcom person I hope mabey there could be a collaboration in the future!!!^-^
@@MiskatonicMemorialist If I were to take a guess xcom probably would have faded into non-existent weren't for the fact that he makes campaigns every year and not to mention the community he has and how he gets people to get skins submitted and over all is a nice guy!!!^-^
Interesting that you mentioned if it was possible that the other races could be freed, cause, Chimera Squad confirms that. Chimera Squad is a very interesting game.
I recently beat XCOM2: WOTC on Commander-Ironman difficulty and squaded-up my: 2x Reapers (keeping ‘em concealed as much as possible to spot enemies was key), Skirmisher who ended-up being the OG and got the final Avatar kill (with rip-jack strike Justice/Wraith), Templar (Psionic Storm was crucial on one of the Avatars at the end), my best Sharpshooter (with the Hunter Chosen sniper rifle/pistol and the Icarus Armor; face-off ability did great), and my best Ranger (with the Assassin Chosen shotgun/katanas and in the Hulk suit).

When does he say that?
@@The-mandalore The Commander doesn't say anything. You are the commander.

Always a great support though, with super mobility, inspiration, non-turn-ending usages of anything and ability to ruin tht enemy's positioning

Big fan of his work. His modded campaign convinced me to download so many mods.

With out a double the skirmishers are my favorite class. Shock and aww is how you fight in this game and that's exactly what they do
O, Skirmishers, faction with best lore that i can never bring myself to use in combat
Why?
I found them to be a lotta fun to use and very flexibel.
Amazing series. Also its great that you do this as you are as it seems the only one.
Yes! It was good to learn a bit more about the skirmishers!
Neat more war of the chosen lore, keep up the good work :)

Could humanity one day work along side mutons and sectoids? Could they one day get viper wives? Who knows what wonders the future holds?
Well you see those are already answered in chimeria squad:)

Wasn't expecting this, loving it so far
Absolutely love these vids, and I can't wait for the next! :)
I should play this game tbh
Loving these vids bro, new sub :D
Enemy of my enemy is the enemy to kill later
My fav faction.
,,a tactical aproach" huh ? :D
The Skirmishers are so cool, I just wish they were stronger in game.
The skirmishers were extremely cool but I wish they didn't suck so bad mechanically
Algorithm bump
💯💯
Next: Templar...
Since they’re part human, can they have babies?
Probably not the elders might not want their soldiers to reproduce just like with clone troopers
Doesn’t Xoom 2 take place during 2025?
2035. Commander is rescued as part of operation Gatecrasher
