ākāsa has a few different meanings in the languages of Eastern philosophy...
Ayurvedic puts Akasha (आकाश) as a free or open space, the subtle and ethereal fluid that fills and pervades the universe... the peculiar vehicle of life and of sound.
It is also one of the five basic elements that make up all matter in the universe.
It's number is zero (which is not really a number is it? but rather a point of continuation).
In Pali (the language of the Buddha) there are two variations but here we focus on the first, limited space:
The space element has the characteristic of delimiting matter. Its function is to indicate the boundaries of matter. Without this fifth element, the others would not exist.

This track was mixed as the asteroid 2024 MK hurtled within the moon's orbit of Earth on Saturday June 29.
