The goats are well behave, getting milked by the highway. Best wishes for a safe trip to & fro. Love their baa sounds. The weather needs to cooperate. It's been a tough few months for so many. Derek, you need a corn field for a bathroom relief.

We don’t have goats but we have each other and 40 yrs of deep devoted love and lots of sacrifice taking care of each other, our son, two grandsons (a third in the oven due 01/2025) a new hopefully soon to be Daughter I-L I pray🙏🙏

If you do get caught in a hail storm, find an overpass and park under it so the trailer doesn't get battered. Also an ok place if there is a tornado warning.

If you are passing through or near Kansas City sometime, you can park the goats on the farm here (we don't have any goats here) and I will take you to both downtown Kansas Cities, separated just by a bridge. We can go down to the Kaw (Kansas) River and watch the Bald Eagles fish for a bit.

This morning it was still hot and muggy at 7(Roger's, AR). AZ is hot, but you can breathe, the humidity here makes it hard to breathe and, if there isn't a breeze, you sweat and swim lol. Good thing I love Arkansas

i took a nap just before you posted this and i was dreaming that i owned goats and i was going to breed them but i had too many bucks and i didnt know where to put the last buck (in my dream) so i was holding this buck whilst i was trying to find a spot to hold him but they were all taken by my other bucks and then i realised i didnt have enough does then my neighbour came by and i asked if if he wanted to breed some of his does just so i could put my remaining buck somewhere, them i woke up. such a weird dream lol
this seems so hard on everyone involved. 😢❤

I have been to Kansas city this January. It was cold and I walked all over the place as I accidentally booked at the arong hotel. Walked to the bus and the ended up being dropped of several blocks from my stop. In the dark at 6 am. Hauling my luggage. I was nervous and really cold. I love traveling though. I am enjoying your journey. Thank you for taking us along.

I am very familiar with that area between Jeff City and Rolla my family still lives in that area, then the trip from Rolla down to Sandee in Arkansas I actually bought 2 babies from Sandee which helped her get the two from you guys. Have been wanting for this drop off this entire trip.

Definitely on Team Humid here. I’m sorry, but 110 or 115 is HOT regardless. I can’t imagine living in AZ and I’m from central FL originally. One downside of not having daylight savings is that the sun comes up EARLY and it’s hot early, so you can’t even get out early an avoid the heat unless you are getting out at 5am.
110 115 is hot..but its dry heat.. you get used to it. i live in CA and its 100 plus degrees here daily 😊

When I am transporting I worry about the same thing. Most places and people are fine with but I have been scolded or yelled at a couple of times. I even had a bag off poop to throw away in Rhode island or MA one time and they are full service there and he would not let me pull in and throw my stuff away
I have a question are the goats that Derek are milking? Are those goats going to their new home? Are you rehoming them?

Just a question … Can’t you give the milk to the babies (like water) instead of throwing it out? At least some of it while your milking the other 2 moms?
Why are you not giving the milk to the bottle babies? Or have they been delivered already?
Don’t remember them saying their were any bottle babies this trip.
@@ltshears I could have sworn Derek said he had to bottle feed some on this trip. I guess he might have been referring to the girls having to be milked.
