I can not take carbamazepine, too bad for my liver!! I have found your vids helpful, thank you. I am a quilter, knitter, reader and bike rider so I can stay plenty busy. I do find , like you, a problem in the afternoon - I am on NO meds so every day is a surprise.

You are brave with no meds! But I understand what you are saying about Carbamazepine. It’s great you already have these lovely hobbies. Thank you for watching and supporting my videos.

Just found your videos today. I am in Canada and like you, all medical care is free thank goodness.
It has been 4 weeks for me.
Mine began as ringing and fullness in my ears almost a yr ago following a car accident. Felt like pressure in front of my ear and thought I was getting an ear infection but it just came and went periodically. Few months later thought I was getting a cavity. Left it for a few weeks until I got stabbing tooth pain and figured I could no longer ignore it. By the time the dentist appointment came round, I thought it was infected and an abscess was causing pain up my face to my ear and along the bottom of the jawline. Dentist did an xray and said there is no sign of infection and the tooth is healthy. They advised me to go to Emerge as it needed a Dr to properly diagnose what he suspected. Hospital that same day said it was TMJ (my jaw joint). Advised me to take Tylenol and anti-inflammatory medicine. Few days later and absolutely no relief, back at Emerge they did an xray followed by a CT. TMJ was ruled out and they said it was most definitely Trigeminal Neuralgia. So 3 weeks on Nerve blockers, here I am today watching your videos.
Thank you all the way from Canada 🇨🇦

Wow, what a journey. So glad they did find a diagnosis in the end. Lots of the pain you described sounds like mine in the beginning. Hopefully you are on the way to some relief.

@@Letsfaceittogether the sharp stabbing tooth pain is gone pretty much. Now I just have a fullness feeling and a slight achy feeling around the front of the ear and jaw. I was disheartened to hear that it can possibly get worse. So happy I found your page.

@@d.o.3108 Hi D.O what does the nerve block do? I'm in Canada BC , how does one get diagnosed if its Trigeminal? I'm currently going to CaringMedical in Florida for cervical instability prolotherapy, they do have option to cure Trigeminal via nerve blocks and PRP injection to that area. But I want to learn more about if this is what i have. 4 months ago my jaws started hurting, and gums ,then eye pain, then headache. Maybe I'll bring it up to the florida doctor before it gets worse. Its depressing and I can totally tell it can get worse if I don't resolve neck curve issue, health, diet, and cervical instability - this all spawned because I was using my cell phone too much and curved my neck now its pinching something. And pain fluctuates from 1/10 to 8/10 - I've done NuCCA neck adjustment which helped relieve pain. I didn't even get in an accident that's what's weird, why is this happening I ask myself. But I have to fix fast before it gets worse. I have not taken any med my entire life - I want to avoid it. Hope you heal - thought I'd share about that clinic in florida - very good quality look up their TRigeminal youtube video - I hope they can fix me.

@@nigling6273 nerve blockers are medications used to tread nerve pain like mine and Fibromyalgia. Some of these meds are used to treat bipolar disorders and anxiety apparently. They stop the nerve from sending pain along its path.
I take 1 pill twice a day of one medication and another pill once a day. This stops the pain.
