That happened to me when I was a freshman in college. I received a text saying R.I.P. to my cousin while I was in Biology class. I screamed and ran out. He was basically the big brother I never had. My mom didn’t tell me because she wanted me to focus on school. She wouldn’t even allow me to go to the funeral. It was a hot mess all around.

Jessie, I haven’t finished hearing the story about best friends, but one thing you said stood out to me…the two girls were already best friends before you. That situation has always ended up with a poor outcome for me. Joining a dyad of friends who already had an established friendship never works. If it is a group of five cool, but a pair of two longtime friends and then me….I am always “othered” or end up in some drama because I get closer with one of the friends then jealous arises.

Thank you for sharing your story about your fall out with your BFF. Myself and many in the comments relate, can you share how you navigate friendships as an adult and if you at any point feel bad because you don’t have anyone that you are “best friends” with. I know a lot of times I feel insecure about that but I try to hold on to the fact that I have genuine friendships that are out in the universe just not accessible to me on the regular.

I had to cut off people because they believed everyone is jealous of them and out to get them. Even if you're happy for these people and help them they will still turn on you. They would be doing well and would be passive aggressively putting you down or taking you for granted. They push people away. I don't think anyone was ever really jealous of me. I remember one woman accusing another woman of jealousy because all men were flocking to her friend instead of her. That other girl had a great personality, looked approachable and was kind. I've been on my own a lot so when I see suspicious behaviour I just cut it off if it's clearly a pattern. I feel like a lot of women are toxic, maybe some know it, but others don't realize it, thinking it's everyone else's fault. When something is done to me and I feel weird about it, I ask myself if I'd do it to someone else that helps me see more clearly.

When you know that you are a genuine kind person it’s hard to think somebody can hate you. Hate is a very harsh emotion and one I didn’t come into contact with until my 50’s and it frightened me. When hate is not a familiar emotion to you it’s very hard to get to someone having same emotion towards you. Monica has a problem Jess, good riddance.

I had a Monica, it wasn’t until I got married that my eyes were open. 13 years of friendship, gone in 13 minutes.
That happened to me when I was a freshman in college. I received a text saying R.I.P. to my cousin while I was in Biology class. I screamed and ran out. He was basically the big brother I never had. My mom didn’t tell me because she wanted me to focus on school. She wouldn’t even allow me to go to the funeral. It was a hot mess all around.

I got emotional listening to this story time. Because ALMOST literally the same exact thing happened to me with a friend, down to loving her mother and her transitioning to her final home. It's tough and it sucks.

Jessie, I haven’t finished hearing the story about best friends, but one thing you said stood out to me…the two girls were already best friends before you. That situation has always ended up with a poor outcome for me. Joining a dyad of friends who already had an established friendship never works. If it is a group of five cool, but a pair of two longtime friends and then me….I am always “othered” or end up in some drama because I get closer with one of the friends then jealous arises.

Jess, i think you should do a bit more reseach into what Jaguar has been saying because a lot of things she has said actually came out about diddy including some of the stuff the medium "sloan bella" said which Jaguar said way before. Sloan has also been the one to predict Diddy's arrest since last year. Also, jaguar spoke about a video being shopped around on the "dark web" in which there is said to be a video of Diddy and Justin there which sloan did confirm there is a video. And maybe i am too invested but Sloan has been accurate with alot of things thats now coming out including the the baby oil being a tool to enhance the drugs. Maybe jaguar may come off schitzophrenic or maybe she is just passionate because she has seen it happen over and over for years and only now people are actually taking her serious.

I’m sorry Jessie, you didn’t deserve a friend like that or any of that betrayal. You’re cool after all and she obviously took advantage of your kindness but coated it with love to deceive you as long as she did. I’ve had falling outs with friends but never with a “friend” who took it this far bc I was relatively quick to cut people off tbh. But, I’m so sorry you experienced that level of betrayal from someone who you loved and trusted and you thought cared about you too. One of my best friends (from childhood and into present times) went through something similarly in terms of being left alone with someone she was uncomfortable being around and she had to fight that person when they attempted to SA her… all bc a “friend” we shared thought she was being too shy and needed the exposure. She’s still traumatized when it comes to making new friends, and we both cut that girl off. I hope that, even if not a “best” friend, that you have fulfilling and healthy friendships now with people that see and cherish you for how great you are (and not JUST bc of how talented you are… dusty asses). Thank you for sharing your story about your fall out with your BFF. Myself and many in the comments relate, can you share how you navigate friendships as an adult and if you at any point feel bad because you don’t have anyone that you are “best friends” with. I know a lot of times I feel insecure about that but I try to hold on to the fact that I have genuine friendships that are out in the universe just not accessible to me on the regular.

I had to cut off people because they believed everyone is jealous of them and out to get them. Even if you're happy for these people and help them they will still turn on you. They would be doing well and would be passive aggressively putting you down or taking you for granted. They push people away. I don't think anyone was ever really jealous of me. I remember one woman accusing another woman of jealousy because all men were flocking to her friend instead of her. That other girl had a great personality, looked approachable and was kind. I've been on my own a lot so when I see suspicious behaviour I just cut it off if it's clearly a pattern. I feel like a lot of women are toxic, maybe some know it, but others don't realize it, thinking it's everyone else's fault. When something is done to me and I feel weird about it, I ask myself if I'd do it to someone else that helps me see more clearly.
