Great instructions, you could use 3 paper clips and save on the connecting cable. Insert paper clips in data port 1 and 4.Then prepare the third clip to make connect both together. Close the door, Insert key. then you have 10 seconds to complete the following. Make the third paper clip touch the two, then pump the hazard button 6 times..... the doors will lock...then press your lock button on your fob 3 times and the doors will lock. That's it. Remove the clips and your done. I bought a 3 button key fob on ebay that has a trunk button. however that button dosen.t register. Later

Jumper from point 1 to 4 I fixed , buy I noted port 1 don’t have any wire
Do all doors need to be closed? Or can the driver door be open? I tried it with the driver door open..it didnt work
it doesn't you're using a double ended alligator clip... effectively shorting out ports 1 and 4
How did you connect it to the remote?
Is Auto is a 2006 Lancer Model? My car has no control, can I adapt one?
I did all the steps but the car doesnt want to go into programing mode i tried few times so i know all the steps are right i put the key in insert wire into 1 and 4 from left to right sit inside press the hazard button 6 times and nothing happens no clicking no nothing
Doesn't work on 06 lancer. It depends on where you are but the Canadian model does not work. Need programmer to kick in program mode. Paperclip method does not work.
how can i open that key ?
