Playing Pugsley is no easy feat. We did a production of this play in 2019 and this kid who played Pugsley was really talented. And I have dealt with the occasional unspoken lines. Just go with the flow! And Well done to everyone!
Technically the person speaking before him missed one of their lines and he was waiting to hear that before he went. He is an awesome kid and great performer and has done MANY of our other shows! Be sure to check out the other playlists and see if you can find him!
The Actor's Charitable Theatre I play Pugsley in a Production Of Addams Family and there isn’t a mess up in lines. Although it did stick out, he did stay on track. Props to this kid!
@@thetonymercado21 There was a mess up in lines; Morticia said where's the chalice earlier than she was supposed to. Wednesday had to say "Not yet. Daddy, talk to her." and Gomez says "I've still got the fox problem". Morticia asked where the chalice was earlier than she was supposed to which made the others skip their lines and added Pugsley more confusion but, still I props to them for keeping it on track.
This is my favorite version of the Addams family musical! Instead of watching the Broadway version, I'm watching this so I know how to play Alice right! Thank you for posting this.
This is a pretty good production! Alice's actress really killed her solo song! My theatre group will be preforming this musical in a couple of months! 🕷️🕸️
question: why is it that in every production (not just this one) they force Pugsley to be way younger than he should be? he's only supposed to be a year or two younger than Wednesday so he's probably supposed to be 15 or 16. I know his song is for a higher voice, but come on. He's not 6 anymore.
Fester either paraphrased or changed his lines. I’m doing the roe and those aren’t the lines. I don’t know if that’s a director thing but that’s a huge pet peeve of mine.
The way Wednesday said "no" the first time was so boring she just kind of said it and didn't seem to be defensive in any way. Like girl you DO NOT WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME YOU DON'T WANT TO TELL ANYONE YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED GET DEFFENSIVE "Wednesday's turn" "No!" The way she said it was more of a "no..."
I feel like that's how the orginal Wednesday Addams would have said it. Not the musical one where she is in her feelings so when it comes down to it I like Wednesday's orginal characterization. So I prefer the monotone "no." I'm not sure if I can agree with all the decisions made for Wednesday's character in this, but I liked the regular yet emphasized "no" better than if she had screamed it.
Good production quality but.... what I found even worse than Pugs missing his mark (luckily hes adorable) was the acting of Wednesday. She was like screaming her lines and acting like an 8 year old little girl throwing a tantrum...
Okay but i live in Ohio (we are doing the Addams Family) and nobody speaks with a southern accent. Ohio is the plainest state ever that’s why it’s funny. Bc it’s “normal”. So it’s so annoying that Mal has a southern accent😂
+SurpriseWalrus Someone else skipped a line and Pugs was waiting on that line to come out. He should have covered but he is a kid and did an phenomenal job keeping his cool.
My Grandma Carols going to have heart surgery on August 28th and I want to do something nice for her when she’s having surgery on her heart I could put her favorite movie The Sound of Music while she’s having heart surgery and she won’t mind if I make her a get well soon card to make her feel so so so much better when she’s finished with her heart surgery
Pugslys singing voice shocked me! Sure, there was an awkward pause but he made up for it! That was amazing.

I'm also doing pugsley and Im Suffering 😅
pugsley entirely missing his cue is hilarious
That became an inside joke at my school when we did this play.

THE PUGSLEY IS SO CUTE I CANT AAAAHHHHHH
GRANDMA ABSOLUTELY KILLED IT
Pugsly part gets me every time
Screw the missed cue I loved how the grandma was helping pugsly get away from the fight and helped him up when he fell lol

Why do I feel like I see you everywhere????
nice pfp
5:23 the Puglsy in my class watched this when we put this on. She (Pugsly was played by a girl) showed it to us and it became our inside joke.
Whoever played Alice is a great preformer
aw pugsley so small (':
I'm Pugsley in my local theatre's production of this! I'm having so much fun doing this show! (:
This Alice is the true star of the show
i love how everyone sounds like they're from texas even tho theyre all from the north LOL
Pugsley still did an amazing job reguardless
sprinkly pinky way too young
BabyZillaKilla so cute tho ♥️ 😢
@@babyzillakilla it wasn’t his fault-the cue was wrong
Gomes is AMAZING in this!!!!
Good performance, but Pugsley really dropped the ball there on full disclosure :p
Lol the morticia gave the wrong cue
It wasn't his fault, it was Morticia's.
it's a child
fr doing this play is so life changing the senses are so good!
Alice gave me CHILLS
pugsley actor is so cute!

Mcfunion :3 I know, it bothers me too, but that’s how it’s written.
I think he's actually supposed to be the same age as usual, and they only aged up Wednesday.
he's a kid in the broadway production and honestly it would be weird if a 15 year old boy was stalking his sister and not in a addams weird way LOL
When we did the Addams Family, I played Pugsley as a teenager, but I can’t lie the script is written for a very young child lol, it felt a bit weird.
Pugsley is meant to be 11 in the musical, I’m fairly sure
im mal in a production and this is great
cannot wait to sing waiting for the show i’m doing!
I would KILL to play Alice but I’m a female tenor 😭
im alice so im watching this for reference even though we're doing the junior version since its a middle school
Fester either paraphrased or changed his lines. I’m doing the roe and those aren’t the lines. I don’t know if that’s a director thing but that’s a huge pet peeve of mine.
I know that there's a couple different scripts that are used for this musical, maybe that's it
he did paraphrase; the line is "well, I wouldn't exactly say we're dating" lol but he said something else
We used the same script for our performance, Fester said what was in our script so there is a few different ones out there.
The jr musical is different from the professional version, so maybe that’s why

@@maskedsinger8337 yeah but wednesay isn't her normal self in the musical... this iteration of the addams overall is more gothy than original
@@queerlibtardhippie9357more gothy??? what are you on about
the beinekes are from ohio why the FUCK does mal sound like he just rode in from kentucky on a horse drawn wagon
The answer to your question is in the description. This was performed in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Most likely, it was the actor’s actual accent.
the way he says dynamite oml
I ❤️this theater company
"puglsey, line" HELPP he was good though
Why do Pugsley and Fester hate each other because they always stick there tongue out at each other
My school is doing this version of the musical and I love it so much
Why is he playying Gomez as Ricci Ricardo. Gomez is spanish but he is not ricci ricardo. There is a difference.
When your pugsly and watching this so you can try to blow ppl away
this morticia and gomez have great chemistry
Lurch is hilarious
pugsley's part 😰❤❤❤

@Adam Newell I liked that they changed it and didn’t keep it as Ohio, I still think from these videos it came out alright either way.

Lucas and I will get married!!
NANI? 😁

Steve durbette good at play gomez on addams family
The line delivery is weird
It was a good set!! Great ideas, but didn’t hit the mark. Good stand out characters
Lol that mess up
+SurpriseWalrus : It happens.
+SurpriseWalrus Someone else skipped a line and Pugs was waiting on that line to come out. He should have covered but he is a kid and did an phenomenal job keeping his cool.
The Actors Charitable Theatre the line in broadway is the mother saying “where’s the challace” then pugsly goes

disliked for replacing kevin chamberlin
You disliked the video because the Broadway show which we have nothing to do with replaced Mr. Chamberlin?
Uh, hate to break it to you but this isn’t the broadway version, but it was so good I understand your confusion
