In honor of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we’re connecting with local businesses that put employees with disabilities first - starting with the Beacon Lighthouse for the Blind in Wichita Falls.
We spoke with President & CEO Judy Koetter, as well as Press Operators Dustin Woods and Andy Millard.
NDEAM is observed every October to celebrate the value and talent workers with disabilities add to America’s workplaces and economy. This year’s official theme is, “Access to Good Jobs for All.”
