When you said "her mother didn't wanted to go because the ship was too new" I was thinking "oh no, since the most likely scenario is that she died, that family would have been so sad", then I got emotional when you said that she survived, small connection to the past.
One of my ancestors was on the titanic, he was traveling to visit his fiancé, unfortunately he did end up dying. A few years ago, my uncles ex wife went to this museum (they were still married at this time). The funny thing is that the ticket she ended up getting was my ancestors ticket!
No way 😮
I feel like these two would smile walking around the anne Frank museum, nothing going on but the rent 😂
I went to this and it truly was an amazing experience. It feels like you are in the movie
We’re is it?
One in the DMV area and there’s a few permanent ones. Branson and Pigeon Forge are great and then there’s the Luxor in Las Vegas which has an actual part of the ship. The one in Orlando has a smaller piece. Then there’s Halifax Nova Scotia where all the recovered bodies are buried. But if you want to get super close to her, Belfast is her birthplace and home.
I went to this and I was a third class five year old girl who died 😭
I went to the titanic museum in Tennessee, and we also got boarding passes of different people on the titanic, and I was Miss Constance Sage, a 7-8 year old girl a part of the largest family on board containing 11-13 people (can’t remember if it was 11 or 13)
HER and her mother...NEVER!
SHE and her mother...ALWAYS!
This looks so fun and interesting! My question is tho… did you experience the ship sinking?
did this when it came to Seattle... 20 years ago
It was really cool when I went to see the real hull of the ship. It felt haunted for sure
I went to this place it was such a great experience. I hope one day I can go back
I went but I was a 42 yr old Irish 3rd class woman. I died but my husband lived 💀
Oh I figured they would only give out names of the ppl that survived to ensure guests go home with a happy memory..
how much is it?
Omg I just went there for a field trip!
Sounds cool!
I went here in pigeon Forge. It is so fun if you watch the movie and was fascinated you need to go it’s so fun and I think it’s $15 for kids under 13 and 20 for an adult. It was amazing and there’s so much merchandise we got like so many hoodies.
Imagine they do this walk through experience for other disasters like Hurricane Katrina, school shootings, 9/11, bombing of Pearl Habor, or the January attack on the White House. Why do they keep Titanic’s memory alive this way?
I went to one it Cali and It was really cool!
I remember going to the exhibition with my mom and dad before their divorce and both my mom and me were on the list of survivors and dad’s id card didn’t. I always think back to that memory and laugh, cuz dad had the most resigned look on his face.
I LOVED THIS MUSEUM! My parents took me there as a late birthday gift and it was so much fun!
I am a Titanic enthusiast and have been studying the Titanic for 3 almost 4 years now
Getting to experience all of that was just amazing and so much fun
My passenger and my dads passenger unfortunately did not make it (Rest in Peace) but my mother and sister did
My sister wasn’t that interested but my mom and dad were and let me speak what I knew
They had areas going into the separate classes that had almost all the passengers on the walls explaining their story
Every time we passed a passenger I knew I would say some facts that weren’t on the metal plates
I told them about my favorite passenger to learn about
Margret Brown or Maggie as her friends called her or as history called her Unsinkable Molly
They really liked her too
This was a great birthday gift and I want to go again when I get older cause it was just so much fun
Titanic is more than just a ship you know?
I went to this when it came to Sydney and just went too it in Melbourne and when I went in Sydney I got Richard Norris Williams the second lol
I went to this exhibition! I was Annie Elizabeth Cazaly from Peterborough, England who was travelling to Jacksonville Florida with my husband and 9 children in third class. My whole family died
I was just thinking about thay rick and morty episide
If you go to Halifax Nova Scotia Canada there is a museum with actual artifacts
I’ve been there too it was so fun and there was so much to see!!!!!

I wonder is you saw my great great grandmaom the wall! She was on the titanic and survived

Where is this place
We’re is this
I went and I was jean to
it’s kinda gross to pretend to be someone who died in a disaster.
Do you get executed there or?
I went there ! The person I had survived
I mean it has some cool things like this identity but... what can there be in a titanic exhibition. Like i mean for real, how did it crash, how many people were and what? Specs of the ship?
They probably have a walk through showing what it could have felt/looked like to be on board the titanic as a passenger, then a information area that talked about how it was built and also how it sunk. That's just speculation on my part, but that makes the most sense to me basing off what they mentioned in the video.
I've been to a few titanic exhibits, and it's like any other museum. They have info about the ship, how it was made, different levels of passengers, ect. The one I went to had a lot of models of the ship and showed how it was destroyed and let on water and sank. There might be artifacts found on the ship or testimonies from surviors.
There’s one where the titanic was actually built wich leads you through the entire history of building it, the voyage, the ride itself and post crash. It’s in Northern Ireland, specifically Belfast:)
the one I went to had blueprints of the ship, passengers, important people (for example the captain), artifacts from the sinking, showrooms that would show what some of the rooms would have looked like. there were also these very cool parts that showed ice warnings given from other ships during the night. also there was a part that made it look like you were going through a watertight door! i do wish they included some things from the movie, but everything else was amazing!
