Kristina, we would recommend renting a scooter from the place right next door. Their prices are the same or even cheaper than other places and you have the convenience of them being right there. Since the "beach" at El Cid isn't very swimmable, go explore some of the beaches all around the island.
I'm looking to stay here in July. I've never been to an all inclusive place before so I don't know what to expect lol. Is it literally unlimited amount of food and alcohol all day and night? Or are there limitations? Also is the unlimited food for both restaurants and you can order pretty much anything on the menu? Thanks!!
We didn't purchase the all-inclusive option here. However our experience at other all-inclusives is pretty much the same. All you can eat and drink within hours of operation. Because of the pandemic, buffets are more a-la-carte (you tell them what you want and they bring it to you). If you aren't planning on going into Cozumel much and are mainly staying at the resort, all-inclusive is probably worth it. I would recommend going into town and eating where the locals eat.
