I have always LOVED that two tone Ford color way. Not sure if that's factory paint or not but man, there's just something about that paint scheme with dark tint and the right wheels. Ughhh
Ford really pulled it off the best throughout the years. Idk I’ve just never liked two toned Dodges and ya rarely see good Chevy two tones, seems like Ford nailed it to be frank 😂

I had a '96 F350 dually with the 7.3 that would tow anything I ever hooked to. Never needed anything more than routine maintenance. Sold it with 350k on it to a guy that had a construction company and he used it for another 200k without problem. The 7.3 PowerStroke was the best diesel ever put in a truck. Ford screwed up when they stopped using it.
My buddy just snagged a 1996 F250 extended cab with a 7.3. Only 81,000 original miles. Its whole life was only to pull a 30 foot Travel Trailer. The truck, drive train and motor is in excellent shape. 20,000.00 with the travel trailer.
I miss the 7.3 powerstroke that my brother had he had a tune on it and it was a big ass lifted truck surprising that he won a 06 Silverado he never had glowplugs so all winter it just sat like a statue
I had the opportunity to buy a 96, 7.3, single cab, 4wd, manual, with 170,000 miles on it for $8,000. I called the guy with the ad and he said someone was driving off with it as we spoke. I will never let myself live that down.

I ordered my 2001 F350 CC LB 4x4 7.3 from the factory. Still have it at 177,000 miles and have NO plans of departing with it. The only weak spot is the 4R100 tranny. Im on my third. With a chip, CAI and 4" cat back exhaust, it does not want for power. I have friends with 6 Blows and they are anything but pleased. So hang onto that truck!

I miss my 7.3L. My old man bought a 2002 F350 for me to drive in HS. Only had around 38,000 miles on it at the time. I later bought it from him a year after graduating HS. Never had an issue with the truck, that 7.3 sounded great & it was so damn reliable. Never had any issues with it. Could pull damn near anything. Then in 2015, a drunk driver ran right into it & totaled it when I was parked at a friend’s house. I refuse to park on the road since then. I was so distraught. That truck would still be running today!
@@2003-2fitty Yeah like I said, the drunk driver totaled it. You couldn’t even recognize it afterwards. Dude was going 82 in a 25. I was so upset. As I said before, that truck would still be running, & would’ve still been my main vehicle today.

Yes, indeed! Except the 7.3l engine is not ford, its from other source i think international. However, the 2011 and up 6.7L Scorpion diesel is a ford engine which i prefer so almost any Ford dealerhip service should be familiar if needed repair on the road.

Ram didn't have an engine designed for them. They went out and found one that was already available. The 6.7L Powerstroke is a "Ford" engine.
We used to have an F-350 with a 7.3, it had the OBS but it was white with some small stripes on the side. It was also a dually, very sad when we had to sell it
I tried to find one of these recently. People apparently know what they have, because they want $30k and up for them if they’re in decent shape with fairly low miles.
Funny everybody going on about the sound. I've had mine forever so I don't really think about it. It does sound tough though I guess. They sure don't make any power stock though😂😂.

I have a '97 HD. I live in a rural area in the summer and drive it. When a neighbor goes in a ditch, they know who to call.

It was done on purpose. Lower quality engine means more repair/ replacement.

Mid 90s year are my favorite. That’s a very clean ride. I’d a gone with a black stripe but that blue is an awesome color as well. I’m jealous! 👍
