Modding Assetto Corsa is as hard as it gets, harder than modding GTA or any other modding scene. It’s more painful and time-consuming to set up, and the driving feels choppy and incomplete compared to newer games like BeamNG. Additionally, most mods that promise lifelike visuals in Assetto Corsa require subscriptions on Patreon, which makes it even less appealing to casual players who will probably only play Assetto Corsa a few times a month. So, if you really think about it, BeamNG is better in several different areas regarding accessibility and simplicity. Keep this in mind when considering modding or getting Assetto Corsa! List your specs in the description please?
Ok :)
@@vertvigerthanks! I watched the vid all the way through but it’s nice to know the full specs to get a better idea
BeamNG is just pixel mud, even without VR! They urgently need to get their AA working proberly!
Well , yeah , BeamNG graphics really needs some updates , but it will cost very much performance too )
BeamNG really needs to try harder on the VR front
Yeah , BeamNG has lots of potential in it :)
And with the update with more optimization for Vulcan render I hope we will see some improvements in VR too )
OMG SKYFALL COLLAB???!!!!?
Yeah :)
To make video more interesting and informative I asked SkyFall to create it together , and he was so kind to help 😊
what is the sonbg at one min?
Here is a link to this song: www.epidemicsound.com/track/1Zx0EcEIfC/
Enjoy :)
When I tried F4 racing and switched to realistic gear shifting my game crashed over and over again
Unfortunately I don't really understand what you mean, can you explain the problem in a little bit more details?
@@vertviger I tried to race in formula 4 with VR with the Vulcan launcher, and when I tried to switch the gear shifting from arcade to realistic, the game crashed. After that it just kept on crashing over and over again
On my pc with a pimax 8k plus, one struggles to get 45 fps at 4k resolution, and the other gets 150 fps at 8k. Beam ng is optimized for 4080. Otherwise don't bother.
Yeah , on high end PCs BeamNG in VR will work even on very high resolution. But unfortunately not all users can afford such hardware - and in that case AC is very good variant :)
you dont need any oculus software to play pcvr using a quest headset
Oh , I see
I didn't know that actually
Even when I connect my headset to PC - it doesn't work untill I turn on Oculus App. This is actually weird a bit
Який vr шолом ти використовуєш ?
Я використовую Oculus Quest 2 :)
Note: I would love to know if this helped anyone decide whether to get Assetto Corsa or BeamNG Drive VR.
That's actually very useful comment, friend :)
I'm as a person who doesn't know to much about AC and I actually prefer BeamNG VR a lot more. Even though it's very demanding in terms of hardware, but it gives much more emotions and feels much better :)
@@vertviger It's good to know this helped since most people think it's all easy but it really isn't since the game is 11 years old or so. Most people just forget about that tho.
And Assetto Corsa doesn't updates like BeamMG
👍
were can i get a ' headshet '
In the tech store :)
Would a 3080 be able to run vr
Yeah, I think with new BeamNG optimizations it definitely will be able to run BeamNG VR even on high graphics settings :)
You definitely should try it )
Thank u
@@Flooke_177 No problem
Feel free to ask if you need anything :)
@@vertviger Yee I was just asking cuz I going to build a pc for Christmas yk
@@Flooke_177 That's amazing :)
But also don't forget about RAM. 32 GB is really recommend for BeamNG.
headsched is a cool word
I need to work on my pronouncing a bit 😅
YOU DO NOT NEED STEAMVR.
I don't get why people say you do.
Actually , yeah
But only if you use Oculus headset
For Valve Index steam VR will be needed :)
lol, calling a 4070 a high end card is like saying smirnoff is good vodka
@@WinterMute99 and I still didn't get your point, lol
4070 ti super is kinda of high end
It’s not a 4070 it’s a 4070ti super witch has 16gb of vram and a 256 bit bus rate and is only 8-10% slower than a 4080 and for the price difference between the 4080 it’s a perfect high end but not so expensive card compared to the 4080
cant wait for assetto corsa evo vr
Yeah, it should be very very cool :)
meta app craps on stesmvr I avoid steamvr at all costs to much bloat and less performance
Yeah , agreed
I also try avoiding SteamVR as much as I can , bc for some reason with Oculus Headsets it drops fps very significantly
Будто бы инглиш не родной язык ?
Вижу, подписался , есть идеи как TAA в корсе завести? Extra fx не работает в VR режиме (
Yes , my mother language is Ukrainian
Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with AC graphics settings, so idk how to help , sorry :(
