Me too! It always struck me for some reason. It still has Luna's "knowing about quirky magic things" kind of humor but turned dark, if that makes sense? Because she knows that it won't keep evil away. Maybe she used to hang them up too, but after her mother's death she doesn't understand at first how something as horrible as that could happen and since then she doesn't like them anymore....
Most wizards wouldn't bother to give a house elf a proper burial or rescue a goblin in trouble, hence why he calls Harry "unusual." I feel this is an underrated moment.

Warwick Davis (The Goblin Actor) doesn't get enough credit. Even under the Goblin makeup, there is just something intimidating about his performance. You can feel the bad guy evilness under his voice. Hollywood should give him more stronger roles.

Of all Harry Potter's character, I found this Griphook the most terrifying from appearance to the idea he was undefyingly enemy in disguise. I mean look at those creepy wrinkly pointy nose and fingers

The interesting part was the last exchange. The headmaster placed the fake in Lastrange's vault. So, the Half-Blood Prince KNEW it was a fake in the first place, the double agent playing that third edge of the sword named risk. I hope they put an obelisk up in his name for the deeds he performed all those years covering up for Harry and the gang. That wonderful man... I hope that Dumbledore was there at King's Cross Station to hug him and gives Severus all the praise that he deserves, and LIly is there to hug and kiss him on the cheek. And James is there to shake his hand full on, praising him, and inviting him to ride ON, in their compartment, to talk about, everything.

The thing is, that the original maker of the sword, a Goblin, created it under Godric Gryffindor's desires, later giving the wizard what could be his magnum opus (greatest work). Whether or not Gryffindor paid for it, was left unsaid. However, upon this realization, the sword-maker regretted giving his creation to the wizard and wanted it back. The Goblin then LIES to his own people that Godric Gryffindor stole the sword out from under him, causing the Goblin-Wizard war! They attacked Gryffindor in Godric's Hollow, where he lived. Gryffindor uses the sword to protect himself, saying 'anyone who attacks me next will die by this sword.' Later on, the Sorting Hat carries the sword, lending it to only True Gryffindors who'd need it most. Even still, the Goblin Race still believes the sword is rightfully theirs, despite the fact that it was already given, and has achieved a kind of Magical Sentience, as it disappears in the movie and in the bank vault in the book, to later be retrieved by Neville from the same Sorting Hat in the Battle of Hogwarts! To be honest, the sword was Gryffindors, and bestows itself to whomever else is brave enough to stand for what's right!

With scenes like this you understand such a powerful mage was newt Scamander, capable to transform a flat even a suitcase in beautifuly habitable places to live. The most of mages in the movies live in 'rustic' houses.
The goblin that showed him to his vault in the first movie had a squeaky voice but the goblin at the counter was a different goblin than the one who took them to the vault. What one is he meant to be?
I'm amazed they never thought Snape could be a good guy playing as a double agent considering him having the fake sword hidden away in the vault to protect Harry and his friends from harm.
I mean, the hiding of the sword is irrelevant. It's the delivery of the sorting hat to Harry. The real sword could have been put in the vault, and Harry still would have pulled it out.
