That bass drum sounds amazing & the floor tom is like whoa!! I recently purchased a DW collector series & they sound amazing, however if I had to do again I would purchase a Sonor.
Sonor Pro- Lite blows its competitors out of the water. WOW the kit as a whole sounds so deep & powerful especially the floor & of coarse that badass kickdrum damn it makes your whole body rumble when hit. I gotta have this kit!!!
I know the vidéo is old, but you really have this incredible sound with just one overhead over your shoulder ? Maybe room mics also ?. And can i ask you if you remember the model of the oh ? Thanks a lot
I think it's simply the size differences. We're talking 10/12/16" - that's a big size gap between the middle tom and the floor tom. Which is why these days I'm becoming more of an advocate for 10/12/15" (my personal favourite) or 10/13/16" tom setups. I personally think those 2 configurations are the next stage in the evolution of the drum kit.
Sonor is just on another level. It's that simple.
Sonor drums just sound so amazing.
Everything sounds insane on that kit, but the kick sounds absolutely incredible!
I have a set of Sonor 3007s. They sound amazing for being an entry level kit.
Simple, no fuss, no super exotic, no gimmick. Just clever sound oriented details. And one of the most tempting drum sounds ever. Sonor Prolite.
That kit sounds Awesome !!! Not to mention that badass snare !!!

I Have Always Loved Sonor Drum's.
Those toms are so sweet sounding
Thanks for telling the science behind sonor sound. Now i know and am more enthused about it.

I'm picking mine up this week 😍🤗😉
Hi, what head combo on that kick please, it sounds phenomenal
The Sonor Prolite is my grail kit. Maybe one day.
Premier used to undersize their shells, as well in several different series, most notably the Genista line. But yeah, Sonor pro-line kits rule!
Beautiful drums what a sound
Stunning kit.

Badass
cool drumming cool drums!
Can I work at DCP? I love your shop
What mics did you use for this demo?
Nice demo
Killer kick
Great drum kit -- bad link for the kit :(
Came here for the review, stayed for the drummer.
22 by 14 bass drum for me.
Old school, punchier, easier to carry through doorways, into my small car, up or down venues stairs etc .
Agreed, I like it on all diameters.
Floor tom? Out of tune? Or just turned much lower than the rack Tom's? The kick is 🤘🤘

@@robinjohnson6301 also a 16 ft 14 deep is more punchy, 16 floor Tom's I like more with 10 lugs per head for more even head tuning)tensioning.
Premier made undersized shells. Genista and Signia.. So saying no one else does that or did that is false.
Premier offered a 6mm undersized shell, not 12mm, like SONOR. They no longer do that.
Unreal!
Is this set still available???
Sorry, Bill. Prolites are gone forever.
What do they sell today that is like it?
SQ2 Vintage Maple.
Rly they stopped production on prolites?
Is a 14x14 ft available as an add on
Yes
3G's, that is a good deal for these 4 piece kits.
Smoking deal. We've got a handful on our site that are even less right now!
Undersized by 12mm??? That's an inch!
Thats half an inch
@@tonybarnhill585 Right, so that would mean a quarter inch on each side. No way are they undersized by that much.
He must have meant 1.2 mm lol
Just another cheap ass kit that sounds like every other brands cheap ass kit.
Nothing special
