When times get really hard and I feel like it just can't get worse. I feel beat down beat up and life just sucks. Lost my job, my son was just diagnosed with lupus nephritis my daughter has congenital adrenal hyperplasia my mother-in-law just got put in hospice, and about to lose our house. I listen to job and realize it could be worse let go and let God.

First did you know you have a very famous name? Many years ago a Frank Rizzo was the Chief of Police and Mayor, not at the same time, in Philadelphia, Pa. I knew him and he was a great and tough guy. Once he was at a black tie affair and there was a riot i Philly, he left the party and went to the place of the riot with a billy club in his cummerbund. 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

I love all the books in the bible except this one.

You’re confused. God didn’t do anything bad to Job in this. Everything evil happened from satan. By loving God, Job was blessed by God and satan sought to destroy him for his own desire. It is evidence of the nature of satan and the reason he needs to be destroyed, he has desire for to have evil done to “innocent” people because it pleases him. God blessed only blessed Job and reassured him that he doesnt know enough to blame God because none of this was Gods fault.
It also shows the incorrect belief of the time that bad things come from God. Job and all his friends thought it was a judgement of God when all the harm came from satan.
