Im from a spanish speaker country and all i can say is that i highly recommend you to eat this delicious receipe im in love with chicken feet since i tried it in an asian restaurant
Checken feet is not only delicious, also full of gelatin which keep our skin from dryness. Also, instead of pressure cooker, you can steam the chicken feet in the plate over the boiling water. Thanks for the instruction and recipe!
Thank you. As a westerner I love authentic yum cha dishes that push the boundaries of the western pallet at yum cha. Offal, tripe, tongues, intestines etc I absolutely love!!! I'd rather throw out steamed buns & eat dishes like this at yum cha. It really hits the soul. Humble ingredients never tasted so bloody good!!!
I absolutely LOVE this style of chicken feet. Subbed! At a good Dim Sum Restaurant, these are ALWAYS a big part of the offerings and it is by far my favorite. Thank you!
This is by far the best chicken foot recipe ever. I grew up in southwest Georgia where we grew our own chickens so chicken feet was something I knew...I have done this exact recipe about 5 times and its amazing. I actually shared this video with my Grandmother and mother yesterday because I'm in Tenneesse now but I hope they will try this.
Seen them in market, 1st time I've seen them cooked. Your recipe looks delicious. I have eaten all kinds of things but I must admit chicken feet freak me out but now seeing your recipe I'm tempted try them. Love that yummy asian cooking makes use of everything!!!
Thank you very much, I really love chicken feet. i used to make them in a sort of italian way, but never ate the skin, until I had them in a chinese restaurant once. Since then they are one of my favorites. I found interesting the use of a pressure cooker, in my country it's not rare to have one. Only thing is, I always thought to get something real tasty you must cook it for a long time, chicken feet typically for 3 hours. I'll give it a try with the pressure cooker, then, it's a lot easier this way.
I have made your recipe 10 times now. thank you for providing such an easy and delicious recipe! We are getting ready to make another batch today but instead of feet from the store, it is from our own roosters!
Thank you so much for sharing this authentic dish. I usually make them in a soup with soy sauce and oyster sauce but I recently tried them at a Chinese buffet and they were really good but these look far more tastier and flavorful . I will try this recipe some time this week. Thank you for sharing.... Chef Bernard Paul III
Wonderful dish! Will cook this very soon!!but instead of using the pressure cooker,I could also use the normal pot?how long would you suggest the cooking time? Thanks.
Thank you so much for the recipe. Since my Chinese friend got me into braised chicken feet, I have long wanted to try to make them for myself. Love from Japan.
My Introduction to Chicken Feet came by way of Top Chef competition on Bravo TV Channel and have been curious since. After a few weeks of surfing the web for an ideal recipe, I find myself returning to your recipe time and again. Today I shall put it to the TEST and shall return to review.
I've just cook it for lunch for 15 minutes in pressure cooker and add some black chili sauce.... It's taste better than serve in Causeway Chinese Restaurant here in Quezon City , Philippines. LOL Thanks Annie Vang for sharing.
Omg!!! So I've been trying ur recipes this wk bc my family is having potluck competition & I wanted to try something new! I made this dish and the blue crab one & holy cow I loveeee em!! Thank I soooo much! So excited to try em put for my family!! Thank you thank you ! I will let u kno if I win! Lol
Hello. Well, I tried chicken feet using a RUclips recipe for the first time a few months ago. The cooking method involved was grilling and I wasn't too impressed with the results. I found your recipe recently and thought I would try again. Holy chicken feet! For me the difference is like night and day. They are delicious, especially the next day and with rice. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing the recipe, I m a Filipina. Looks yummy. I will cook today, I have all the ingredients. I cooked before, adobo recipe. Have to marinate first. ❤️
I'm wo lai from middle America.....Get over your phobias if you love chicken wings you will love her reciepe. You will then crave chicken feet.....its boney and has cartilage but all those little bones and cartilage add so much flavor and texture, it's addictive. Awesome good eating and so unusual for a potluck you can sort out the adventurous open minded people right away. Go Annie!!!!!!
Looks really good, I'm going to try to make it here in a little bit. Do you have any recipe for pork feet also? Can I just do the same thing for the pork feet as for the chicken feet? Thanks a lot for sharing your cooking with us!
look so yummy. I was wondering if you can cook them with regular pot instead of pressure cooking (don't have pressure cooker) Thanks for sharing. I like the way you shoot the video. it gives me a good understanding.
Chicken feet contain a substance which helps people clear up phlegm and get over colds, which is why hot chicken soup in the old-fashioned style was recommended. This looks like a fun and challenging dish to eat, and chicken feet will also bolster an Italian tomato sauce dish. It's more Southern style and I remember guests would be shocked when they got more sauce and found a foot in there! Greetings from France via the USA.
The way u cook just as same as the restaurant serve, I love chicken feet and first dish I pick up when go to have yum cha or dim sum. Thank u and have a great new year 2014.
am cooking the other way around but this time am going to try the new recipe above.looks yummy n for sure would taste differently.hey!if it looks good, eat it...
I always like to learn how to make this chicken feet. Thank you for this video, so much appreciate. Next I go to an Asian store I will buy the chicken feet. Very clear explanation, thank you kindly.
Hello Anne, I'm not sure I really know on how to use a pressure cooker. Not sure if its safe to use to cook pig ears. I have a lid that seal tightly I can't see if there is any liquid left after 45 mins of cooking. How can I tell if the cooker pressure still have liquid?
Hmmm......i might consider trying this at home, but not sure if it will work out the same way since i don't have a pressure cooker, and i would not use chicken feet (sorry, i don't eat meat)...but i will try a chicken substitute that tastes like chicken....but i want to try the rest of ingredients with it like black bean, ginger, scallions, garlic, brown sugar, etc....sounds yummy. thanks..
Annie, this looks so good. I would imagine it must taste very good as it looks. The music is also very soothing, can you tell me the name of the song or how can I obtain it. I am Laotian and had gone to school with general Vangpow back in the day.
Great recipe, Thanks! I live in Germany and you would never see any asian restaurant serving this dish here becauce they scare of the reactions. Germans eat head cheese, that counts normal! :) Anyways, i always wanted to try chicken feet but was not sure about the right recipe. Yours is excellent, i`ve tried today and ate even with my kids! :) Also thank you for the clear and simple discription and your clear english. Greets from Germany.
if I don't have a pressure cooker and i boil it until it's soft, do I still have to fry it after boiling it? after its soft, can I just pan fry it with all the ingredients?
Im from a spanish speaker country and all i can say is that i highly recommend you to eat this delicious receipe im in love with chicken feet since i tried it in an asian restaurant

@Naren789: i think so , cuz if u put the corn starch or tapioca starch directly it will be mushy so u have to mix it with water first ;)
