Nice early video, thanks. Not touching Intel i5 13/14x with the current ongoing debacle and a straight choice around the 7700x (bp £263) and the 9700x (est £359). The game performance will be decider and current prices making it a no brainer for the 7700x.

@@kalaglow5094 you’re getting the worse cpu

😂 the only reason the 7700x and 9700x is faster csuse of the 13600k’s low stock frequency of 5.1ghz. I have my mine oced to 5.8ghz, I get 2350 in single score and 27000+ in multicore in cinebench r23. In games, the Ryzen CPUs aren’t even in the frame. People buy k skus to OC, and i5s usually have the highest OCs when compared to their stock frequencies. Pls retry this test with ocing. And before people say “not every chip can do 5.8ghz”, you’re right. But, from my extensive testing with 10 13600ks, I can confidently say every chip can 5.6ghz 2core @ 1.33V and 5.4ghz all core At 1.3v. Most chips will do it at better voltages. And at those frequencies, no Ryzen 7 will beat except x3d chips in gaming by like 3%. But at that point, why would you spend $200 more for the cpu and ddr5, whilst being 40% slower in every multicore workload except geekbench which favors amd and apple anyways.

@@TheCaspercc well it’s never default settings for AMD cause you guys enable PBO. My point still stands that the 13600k is the best bang for your buck chip if you OC it.

@@DominickDecocko any other multicore workload and you still get the same 30-40% gap.
