According to every calisthenics video on youtube, the key to it is to be shirtless.
LOL! Yeah, it's just like a few years ago, when all those crossfit guys ran around shirtless and claiming they wheren't on roids "cause crossfit just build you up to less then 10% fat and beefy AF" xD
Chris Heria has some tattoos at least 😂😂

@@sabotage3127 Me. Because doing it kinda makes you an asshole.
Of course Im not talking about normal instances like at the beach, by a pool, in the summer, generally when its hot, or when women are close.. Well actually you know what I take it back.
I certainly appreciated it.
I just witnessed two men that can teach and at the same time listen wow.. that does not exist around me
two wise but young men
I like how the two of you aren't one-upping each other . No arrogance, just two people willing to share their knowledge

Yeah i agree with u 👍
I was feeling arrogance off the calisthenics dude
@@ceruleanblue2161 They both have egos but the yoga guy seems worse.
@@jasminflower3814 yoga guy carries more of an air of grace which wins my favour.
yoga guys ego was humbled by the arrogant calisthenite's prowess forsure. But yoga guy didn't act nearly as proud when he demonstrated ability where calesthenite had little..
The best thing about the human body is just how varying it is in its capabilities of strengths. Here we have two very fit men with defined, muscular, physiques, but with muscles that are primed, trained, and developed to do very different things than the other’s. The idea of “strength” itself can mean entirely different things in every area of fitness, and the most proficient man in one practice can be mediocre in another. That is truly amazing.
Yoga is not about strength or showing off. It is about living healthier and disease free, much longer. So there is no competition really. This is because Yoga is not just an exercise routine but consists of 8 limbs, or practices. The eight limbs of yoga are yama (abstinences), niyama (observances), asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath control), pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation) and samadhi (absorption). Yoga postures is just 1 part of the complete Yoga practice. Thanks
Dr Vikas Sharma yes I can clearly see it’s not about showing off. Great demonstration lol
Their muscles aren’t really developed to do very different things
It's just that yoga focuses on flexibility and calisthenics focus on bodyweight strength
So no they aren't doing entirely different things
*Mayar* flexibility and calisthenics related bodyweight strength ARE entirely different lmao. Using completely different energy systems, utilizing the muscles in entirely different ways, requiring different types of strength and malleability, which was my point. Looking at these men, and then putting say a fitness model who does bodybuilding workouts beside them, all 3 of them would be well defined muscular physiques comparable in aesthetic to one another, yet they’re incapable of doing the other’s exercises because their muscles are primed to different things than one another.
@@bdpchamp Maybe the best for the body would be a combination of both?
Two masters in their field still humble to learn and develop from eachother
Yessss
But some idiots will fight "he is better! noo he is better!"
So they are real masters :)
No egos, it’s nice to see!
@@syedmdabdullah3052 Welcome to the internet! Haha. (late reply, sorry).
Sunch am honor to have you here in Miami, not only enjoyed making content like crazy (my biceps still sore), but every chat and lesson we got along the way. Much respect my brother! A bounded friendship has been created 🤝
PS: For those thinking I faked the front lever: I can’t front lever now so it’s real :) won’t say the reasons as they might be taken as excuses 😜
PS #2: I don’t have a front lever...YET ;) hahaha
PS #3: thank you all for the love 💙 and thank you brother for having me on your channel and sharing your wisdom with me!✊🏽
-Gabo
I have seen you do a front lever. That is why I suspected you faked it. However, I do take your word. Though I am interested in that excuse for not being able to do it now. ;) :)
Amazing workout. First Austin and now Daniel. :)
Might I suggest a collab with Calisthenicmovement. Those two Germans are crazy. Also, El Eggs is a very flexible and mobile guy. He could challenge you, Gabo. :)
Igor Ljuboja I was able to do it but here are the reasons: 1. Avoiding strength training by gravitating to whats easier for me (take away: work on what you suck at lol) 2. Filming 5 videos daily doesn’t allow me to really focus on my own training (time & energy) 3. Building a company is HARD WORK so besides filming my day is full with other stuff (a lot lol) I need to take care off (time & energy) 4. I had 40+ Shoulder dislocations each, which has taken me a long time to create stability around my entire scapula. 5. You can have it all, but not all at the same time 🤘🏽 - Those are the excuses hahaha I can extend but that should give you enough information about my lack of pulling strength and scapula stabilization.
@@SaturnoMovement I fully support you, Gabo. Thanks for the reply. I am eager to learning from you in the future. :)

"testing strength vs building strength" something quite overlooked in calisthenics for beginners, but it's the most helpful tip in order maximise the time in which you progress.
What a unique and outstanding teaching model. Two experts showing their strengths and "weaknesses." And teaching each other how to take their personal performance and personal understanding to the next level. Excellent observations, excellent cues.
So much brilliant and focused information in such a short time.
Thanks so much.
Would you consider creating a PlayList of such videos?
I cannot fully address and emphasize the importance of these kind of videos on the net for us these days. This is pure gold! Daniel as always addressing the important key points in succeeding in these things a day by day and now Gabo included? I am 49 now. If I could have my time back calisthenics and yoga would be my go to exercise. Watching these two guys, albeit at high level, is a real lesson. I am so tight so I am just starting some beginner yoga classes...... and enjoying it.
As you get older you realise it isn’t about body building and aesthetics but mastering own body weight is actually true strength and fitness
Wow, most channels never reveal weaknesses, this was so humble, thank you for being relatable!!
These collabs with fellow athletes are golden!! no beef no contest!! Learning teaching and improving!! Sharing!! having fun!!
so the quintessence is do yoga and calisthenics... or power is nothing without flexibility (and control) and the other way around
As an older person, it's a no brainer. As you get older, you're going to NEED the flexibility just to be able to wake up in the morning without the aches and pains. The muscles are nice to still have, but they can get you in trouble.

amazing. I love that you are both so open and humble to learn from each other. always staying open minded. amazing
You two are so humble and accept to leave your ego on the side and accept your weaknesses to learn from each other, this is such inspiring from people that are already this far in the yoga and calisthenics journey.
Thank you for all the knowledge given in the video, I didn't notice the time going by while watching you two.

Dropping the ego to build strength rather than test it. Great stuff!
I love this! Full body mastery requires knowledge, skill, and training in multiple disciplines
It is a amazing to see 2 masters of their own discipline sharing gold knowledge ! This video definitely is one of the best you ever produced. Cheers !
I just want to say I appreciate the level of humility from both of you in getting out of your comfort zone and performing things you're not good at naturally. This is one of the reasons I follow both of your channels. Keep up the great work.

This video for me is a point of inflexion. Years ago i began my journey learning from you two in the world of handstands. Its true you were among other people, but you were the first two ones i saw as truly goals.
Today after two years with the display of abilities shown in the video i can say i am better at somethings that the ones once were my heros. I can do more push ups than Gabo and i can bend much more than Daniel.
Never thought a day like this would come. Thank you guys for all you ve done.

These colabs are 🔥. Gabo's flexibility and range of motion is insane. Two masters of their fields but Gabi is an excellent calisthenics athlete as he is with his yoga. I too think he can do one arm pull ups and front lever...for the sake of some great instruction.

Beautiful, thanks for the video!
This is wonderful just seeing the differences. Thank you, I like to see more videos like this showing differences in how you can improve on it, or develop the strength for it. You two make a great team! Just subscribed.
Wow this is an awesome comparison for both yoga and calisthenics. A lot to learn and practice for both. Great way to show stuff
Best video I’ve seen so far. I’ve been following you both for a while now and programming my weeks with a mixture of both of your suggestions. Great collab.
One of the most insightful videos on improving skills I've seen. The differences in strengths and tough areas, as well as the in-depth knowledge with which you instruct each other brings a very different clarity than most videos where one person does one skill in one way - even with good instruction. And the two of you complement each other very well.
I learned the importance of mobility after breaking my leg. I've been thinking about dabbling a bit into yoga for that reason.
Love from India for two pure souls..Gabo your humbleness and awareness is great and Daniel is so disciplined with his movements
This is so informative on so many levels for someone like myself who's trying to understand and adopt both the strength and flexibility aspects of fitness. I've already seen many of Gabo's videos but this collaboration opens up so many things for me. Thanks guys!
I absolutely loved this video! Thanks guys. You two work so well together. There was no ego and so much respect for each discipline. I learned so much about yoga and calisthenics. Freakin awesome!
Pure knowledge. I've learned so much in this video. Thank you, Daniel and Gabo :)
Two great teachers and trainers learning from each other. Mindblowing collaboration 💥. Way to raise the bar.
Love this! Amazing to see! Thank you 😊
The most inspiring part for me about this video is that you show you guys can't do EVERYTHING. There are channels around with a bit too much from the bling bling and the yo yo and you guys focus on the teaching. Cool to see that you are also still learning (which is endless), like the handstand with Gabo. Awesome 🙏Keep it up!
