    The best thing about the human body is just how varying it is in its capabilities of strengths. Here we have two very fit men with defined, muscular, physiques, but with muscles that are primed, trained, and developed to do very different things than the other’s. The idea of “strength” itself can mean entirely different things in every area of fitness, and the most proficient man in one practice can be mediocre in another. That is truly amazing.

    • @drvikassharma4891
      @drvikassharma4891 3 года назад +22

      Yoga is not about strength or showing off. It is about living healthier and disease free, much longer. So there is no competition really. This is because Yoga is not just an exercise routine but consists of 8 limbs, or practices. The eight limbs of yoga are yama (abstinences), niyama (observances), asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath control), pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation) and samadhi (absorption). Yoga postures is just 1 part of the complete Yoga practice. Thanks

    • @mayar9928
      @mayar9928 3 года назад +9

      Their muscles aren’t really developed to do very different things
      It's just that yoga focuses on flexibility and calisthenics focus on bodyweight strength
      So no they aren't doing entirely different things

    • @bdpchamp
      @bdpchamp 3 года назад +5

      *Mayar* flexibility and calisthenics related bodyweight strength ARE entirely different lmao. Using completely different energy systems, utilizing the muscles in entirely different ways, requiring different types of strength and malleability, which was my point. Looking at these men, and then putting say a fitness model who does bodybuilding workouts beside them, all 3 of them would be well defined muscular physiques comparable in aesthetic to one another, yet they’re incapable of doing the other’s exercises because their muscles are primed to different things than one another.

      Igor Ljuboja I was able to do it but here are the reasons: 1. Avoiding strength training by gravitating to whats easier for me (take away: work on what you suck at lol) 2. Filming 5 videos daily doesn’t allow me to really focus on my own training (time & energy) 3. Building a company is HARD WORK so besides filming my day is full with other stuff (a lot lol) I need to take care off (time & energy) 4. I had 40+ Shoulder dislocations each, which has taken me a long time to create stability around my entire scapula. 5. You can have it all, but not all at the same time 🤘🏽 - Those are the excuses hahaha I can extend but that should give you enough information about my lack of pulling strength and scapula stabilization.

    I just want to say I appreciate the level of humility from both of you in getting out of your comfort zone and performing things you're not good at naturally. This is one of the reasons I follow both of your channels. Keep up the great work.

    This video for me is a point of inflexion. Years ago i began my journey learning from you two in the world of handstands. Its true you were among other people, but you were the first two ones i saw as truly goals.
    Today after two years with the display of abilities shown in the video i can say i am better at somethings that the ones once were my heros. I can do more push ups than Gabo and i can bend much more than Daniel.
    Never thought a day like this would come. Thank you guys for all you ve done.
    Sincerely, a long time follower

    These colabs are 🔥. Gabo's flexibility and range of motion is insane. Two masters of their fields but Gabi is an excellent calisthenics athlete as he is with his yoga. I too think he can do one arm pull ups and front lever...for the sake of some great instruction.

    One of the most insightful videos on improving skills I've seen. The differences in strengths and tough areas, as well as the in-depth knowledge with which you instruct each other brings a very different clarity than most videos where one person does one skill in one way - even with good instruction. And the two of you complement each other very well.

    The most inspiring part for me about this video is that you show you guys can't do EVERYTHING. There are channels around with a bit too much from the bling bling and the yo yo and you guys focus on the teaching. Cool to see that you are also still learning (which is endless), like the handstand with Gabo. Awesome 🙏Keep it up!
