Something to also note, theres a few things you can do to get some Mora in the event as well. Things such as creating a custom cutout shape, changing your figure's appearance, etc. There will be a little Mora icon next to the function if it will give you the Mora, and they seem to either change or get updated each day, so its worth going through the different menus to find them if you want a bit of extra Mora.
You don't have to raise the artifact one level. You can just roll in a single 1 star artifact and that is more than enough. You also don't have to go to someone's world to get the slimes, if someone comes to your world and you fight them together, it will count for both of you. But you do have to go to the other's world to get the speciality, and it's not ALL of them, only those used for character ascension mats - so lotus heads and horsetails, for example, don't work. And as stated, it doesn't use up your knots if you fail (thank goodness).
additional tip: if you click on the character's icon (in this video its the xiao icon) right next to the shirt button in the initial page of the web event you get an extra 240 inspiration points... i just found that out today after playing since it started 💀

Failing doesn't lose knots.
well since one round costs 6 knots, that means if you fail they won't return, they're just "wasted"

Correction, you don't have to add a level to an artifact. Adding exp to any artifact will do even if you don't gain a level.
You can have someone doing co op in your world for the slimes, but i've found that you both need to damage the slimes for it to count
