Although Kate asked for 'no cameras' little bits of recording got out and I for one think it's great. I was one of the lucky ones, I saw the show on 2 September 2014, but there were many more who were disappointed and didn't get a ticket. Thanks to this wonderful upload those people can get a taste of what it was like. I still believe BTD will receive a video release, one day. Keep the faith. xx

This should have been the last track on the 9th wave, imo. It would have been a perfect end to her greatest work. "Go to sleep, little Earth." But she tacked "The Morning Fog" on at the end, when it could have just as well have gone at the end of side 1 (when we had these things) of the Hounds of Love album. That's my only criticism of this masterpiece, and feel free to shoot me down in flames for it.
I actually feel the same way about "The Morning Fog". Always felt that " Hello Earth" is the perfect closer and the other song was tacked on to give the story a bright ending. Still think Hounds of Love is incredible with that minor nitpick.
And this is exactly why Kate asked people not to video the show. While it brought back some very fond memories of the show, so much of it looks pretty poor in comparison with the memories I have of the night. Roll on the professional video - whenever that ends up arriving...
I kind of agree. Apparently the professional filming was something of an afterthought, and not wanting to spoil it for the audience, Kate didn’t allow close up filming of on the stage that would interrupt the visual experience for people on the night. So the professional footage consists of long shots, and she decided it wasn’t a good enough representation. It was a show that was more than the sum of its already amazing parts.
Have you ever used dailymotion or another site that is less strict . I’d imagine it would take longer on those sites especially with a name like 2014 live or just “Kate bush” or something abstract !

@@unamckeown8175 It’s better than it could be . Considering it’s well known he smoked in the 70s and 80s and was 35 years older than the tour of life . What you expect wuthering heights in it’s original key ? I think actually in parts of the tour of life her voice went a bit shaky and weak from being tired of the tour and here she’d done half a show prior and was in the middle of a residency so it’s no surprise . The 80s voice in hounds of love and running up that hill is her best but it’s layered and in the studio and has reverb etc and she never did a concert of it at the time , her songs are so hard to sing and she does a good job . Some songs require a lot of belting like hello earth and that’s hard to do . Listen to dream of sheep live and it sounds amazing . She did running up that hill well live still. She did perhaps have a stronger voice in the 80s at had matured etc . But this here isn’t that different from her 70s singing expect it’s lower . Also remember how nervous she gets onstage and that . I don’t think she ever pretended to have a Whitney Houston voice and live singing ability, it’s always been about her songs words and the styling and the visuals too etc .

Sound is incredible, really listening carefully on headphones, incredible musicians , and vocals are super, really , all the vocals..

I was privilegd to be there on 23th of September. I would say it was Apollo Odeon though.
