For those of you that the ac light didn’t turn in I tried it for like 7 times with no luck of the ac light turning on. I went ahead and messed with the knobs a bit as the car was on and even jumped the compressor manually to see if that would help. Then I simply turned off the car for like 5 min and tried again and it worked so don’t give up this works. Well at least the code was given. Nice video I didn’t know this!!!
Can you put another link of the hvac codes bec that one is not working. I'm trying to pin point what is causing my ac to get stuck on heat mode when it's on cold. I appreciate it!
I have a 2004 Honda Civic SiR. My troubleshooting points to the AC clutch circuit. The relay is fine, I jump the relay contact sending 12vdc to the clutch coil and the coil does not pick up. What is the easiest way to access the connections on the compressor and coil. I suspect a bad thermal protector or connection. How can I connect a temporary ground to see if that is the problem. thank you i will try this what happened is that one day I was driving along with ac going and it just turned off now there is no ac, no heat no defrost nothing. I paid for them to check the freon and charge it, relays etc and they said it must be electrical but they didn't know and might be in control panel. single mom on a budget just don't have money to take to dealer for in depth diagnosis.
B Dorado there is an electrical reciver on the glove comparmet you mist remuve the glove box.. thats the speeds control.. once that thing burns there is two things that can happen.. one no funtion at all.. or 2 it works only on full speed... that piece need to be replece. for a new one..
To anyone who may not be able to access this test: my blend door actuator was bad and was stuck on A/C (knew this ahead of time but wanted to guarantee it was that). If I had the mode on heat, the test wouldn't initiate. The minute I put the mode on A/C it initiated. Hopefully it helps someone out there.
I did a you said held two buttons turned key but ac light did not come on did it a bunch of times it does do the diagnosis because I heard fan and clicks but ac light not coming on my ac works fine if I jump relay but it seams like its not getting signal from switch
This was a 100% quick fix not bullshit I did it and surprised myself like dam know I know something very helpful and I got to impress my girlfriend with this little trick
Hey Larry, mine blinks 3 times. What does that mean? Checked the fault codes on the sitw you mentioned in the description but it doesn't say anything about 3 blinks.
I have a rather strange problem with my 2001 Civic EX 1.7liters, standard transmission; when I turn on the heater, after 10-15 min, the temperature starts to rise quickly. I have never allowed to reach the red line but everything seems to fix itself by letting the car cool overnight, until the next time I come up with the great idea of turning the heater on again. A/C seems to work fine, though.
So I did this and now my car wont even blow hot air out of the vents. I dont really know what happenend but now i cant even enjoy hot air blown in my face

Was the problem that you removed the fuse?

Heater core is plugged by the sounds of it NEVER USE STOP LEAK in your rad it will fuck everything up !
Chech to see if the fans are working. One of my fans was weak and my uncle changed it at now my temp is normal
