First time I saw Shadow was the same weekend gangstarr was also playing Philly. Like 1 or 2 days apart, but premier shadow and cut Chemist were traveling together. Anyway, some douche stole primos records before the show and as legend has it the three of them went to every dj in the city and borrowed the LPS to make the gangstarr set happen. Noone in the crowd knew anything was amiss because of how the community came through. True story.
It's going to be difficult for any DJ to ever even come close to Shadow in terms of talent and production skills.
