I'm still incredibly new to collecting figures but over the last couple of months I've started to learn what I prefer and these classifieds check like every box for me. This is what an action figure should be across all brands. Double-jointed pinless elbows and knees should be standard. The amount of joint rotation on these. Having things like a knife on the hip, that actually comes out of the holster. Or the magazine on a gun, actually ejecting. That is just.. oh it's so satisfying.
This one looks like Chuck Norris. Looks cool but I already have the old man with white hair and it is cooler looking and it has a Tiger on the chest which is AMAZING.
I actually think the Tiger Force one looks better.
I agree, I like the old man look better. I have also seen the new have some interesting looking eyes
I love both Outback figures, I had the OG Outback figure as a kid. But I just love the colors of the Tiger Force Outback a little better.

Great review, love the back story. I have noticed more paint app errors on this new wave. It's like they can't line up that face printer, so the eyes either print too far up or too far down. So in your version the left eye was printed on the lower eye which makes it look like that eye is more open than the other. I am hoping I have the skill to chem-wipe that excess when I get mine.

I have the TF Outback just didn't get around to opening him. In a tote right now cause doing rearranging.
Will I get this yes as already thinking an alt name for the TF one. Same with Bazooka.
Now the art, it's the TF with some color swaps.
I only bought Tiger Force Outback to be partnered up with old man Hawkeye so I am extremely glad to see the one and only version of outback being made. As I kid I didn't like TigerForce but I did have Flint and Dusty so if they get made, I will grab those but the others are a miss for me. Great review on a great figure.

Been collecting McFarlane and Neca figures for years now. Never even thought to look into Joes. Funny...I'm a 70's kid and had the 12 inch figures and loved them. Then the 80's came along with the 4 inch figures and...meh. These new Joes are fantastic. Saw this one at my local Game Stop today and was on the fence. After this review I'll pick him up tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up. Liked and subscribed.

I was really annoyed by how the holsters and leg pouches were put on out of the package for this whole wave. All bunched up by the hips. Never had that before with other waves. Had to heat them all up to get em in the right spot.

To the point of the figure, Outback DID survive Ebony's chomping. Also, I thought the forearms were supposed to suggest sunburn! :)
I think you should do a custom Outback with the bullet hole wound on the chest!
Great fig only issue is those god awful band-aid coloured elbow joints! Don’t know why they ain’t painted to match the rest of arms 🤔

Kyle Peterson, have you ever ranked the action figure lines that you like from the worst to the best? I don't know how many different lines you collect but it must be at least 30 right? It would be interesting to see what an expert that has the cumulative knowledge of all of these lines thinks in terms of how they each rank and compare together.
Might be a good top 10 topic will be hard to do for sure
@@KylePeterson1980 Exactly, I think it will be really interesting to see as I don't think many people rank whole lines vs other whole lines, they usually just do a top 10 figures within a particular line, possibly because they don't have enough knowledge about lots of lines and don't collect loads of lines. You however are in a position to be able to do it justice as you are an action figure expert as you have been doing it for so many years and have quite the collection!

I do get the business reason for not giving us versions we want first. However that's why I stopped collecting the classified G.I Joe figures. I'm switching over to super 7 G.I. Joe figures. Yes super 7 is more expensive. I will gladly pay more for versions I want. Than pay less for ones I don't want. At the end of the day it's all about making me happy.
