Ok here is a constructive criticism. First what was done right in this video. 1. Went through all the versions features in details. 2. Offered other explanations to features tweaks and new things coming in Civ 7. 3. The two sometimes having different views those giving us different perspectives to an opinion or fact about the game. 4. Calm video that seems conversational. Now criticism…. My god the level of Civ 7 glazzing is Danm sac religion or shall I even say to the both host to get a room with Civ 7 already. One of the host saying that their not even gonna wanna talk about the controversy of how the game Danm right is copying from other games, is not only an outrageous stupid position to take because views are not coming to watch your video to listen to two guys glaz a game for over an hour, they are here for the good the bad and and you take on how they feel about the game and their LEGITIMATE concerns. If that was not what you here for then y’all could have this convo on a phone call and do the glazzing on their perfectly legal. I have more criticism but this one was the dumbest and most stupidest position by the host that I know most views will definitely hated Next time please even if you don’t care , at least address the legitimate criticism fans might have of something, don’t just say honestly don’t care…. And I will guarantee you that go behind the the video and check the analytics you will see how views must have dropped hard after that stupid comment. Again no hard feelings
In fairness the criticisms were addressed with the comment “firaxis has never made a bad game to my knowledge”. Any game idea can work if done right. I don’t care if people believe civ 7 is borrowing ideas from a game that wouldn’t even exist if it didn’t borrow from the civilization series. I also don’t care if people are concerned with the “name” given to their group of bonuses changes throughout the game. As stated I want balance and variety of viable strategies to win. I don’t care what names or pictures are associated to that. So yeah as kaine said there’s lots of other videos.
I absolutely am here for the glaze. Civ 6 was my first and only civ game and the amount of old reviews that were upset about the changes got annoying fast af. As a new player I simply don’t care if they implement things from other games that’s how progression and development work in a long running series like this.
