  • Have you ever seen beans eaten up this badly from caterpillars? Can you help with what it is? Shrinking the bed down for easier mowing and weeding. How to change out the summer beds to be ready for the fall planting.

    This is pink wood sorrel ! And for the yellow bugs eating the beans it call Mexican bean beetles and to get ride of them spray with neem oil early summer ! David you’re my inspiration thank you 🙏 I started my own garden few years back when I started watching your videos !

    Wood sorrel is edible 😊
    The seed pods taste almost like a sour pickle.
    The cultivated varieties are grown for the tubers I believe. I've only eaten the leaves, flowers and pods.
    You can look up info online about eating them and if there's any thing they react with, etc. I seem to remember they're like spinach as far as the oxalic acid so people with kidney problems probably should steer clear.
    The best revenge for weeds invading your garden is to eat them. It's great to have the last laugh 😂

    How to get rid of shamrocks: Ingredients
    One cup of vinegar
    One cup of water
    One drop of dish soap
    Spray bottle
    Spray regularly for a couple of weeks.
