JUST AS GOOD AS COUNTRY GOLD!!...Thank you soooo very much for posting and sharing this "lost and rarely heard anymore" song AND video for Merrill (and Jessica Boucher) that reached a much-too-low #62 on the Billboard Country Chart back during the early summer of 1987 for them...I thoroughly enjoyed listening.. and the sound quality is terrific too! Take Care, and Happy Holidays! Ms. Elizabeth 🎧📟🎧📻🎤🎵🎶

I haven't seen this video since the '80's!! I am glad I ran into it on You Tube!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for posting it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Merrill didn't write Here to remember for the album ONE WAY RIDER. That's an album with his brothers Alan, Wayne, and Jay. HERE TO REMEMBER to a song he wrote and recorded for his solo album UNCHANGED or maybe UNCHAINED. The title of the album is immaterial, the important thing is he recorded it and the album is available to buy!
Wonder what mary was thinking when he was holding some other woman like that? I would be upset, lol I met Merrill back in the nineties at branson. He and I had a conversation in the gift shop.. In fact i met them all and after the show, took a few photos with them. They are so awesome and down to earth.
With all due respect to Donny( and I think he would back me up on this), it's really sad the brothers were denied the rock and roll career that they wanted( Thanks to their record label and the Church)..I think Merrill had said they wanted to be the next "Led Zeppelin"

Oy. This is hard to watch, even for a Merrill fan. There's NO chemistry between he and Jessica Boucher, and in this opening scene, there's Merrill's wife in a couple shots! Ohhh, the 80's.
I Love this video I think I watch almost everyday, Merrill is so handsome , wish that were me with him :) his voice is so beautiful
Merrill is so painfully handsome. Great duet with Jessica!

Does anyone recognize Mary, Merrill's wife in this video? She is in the beginning of the video sitting at the bar wearing green.
I didn't know that was Mary, until you pointed it out. THX.
I thought that was his wife Mary, but I wasn't 100% sure. He looks so handsome in this video!

"HERE TO REMEMBER" is a good song and 1 bit if it turns out to be a song Merrill wrote for the album "ONE WAY RIDER".

Sounds like Marie singing also.
Who is the female singing in this song?
Her name is Jessica Boucher, Nashville singer.

She wants him its plain to see
Isn't that cheating in Mormons eye ?
I wonder if that bothered Mary .
Connie Pine if you look closely he never kisses her on the lips.
Sharon Jones yes ok but all that other stuff ?
Her running her fingers over his beard ? Hair ?
Hugging him etc ? You know she wanted him .
No, it's not. It's called acting.
Connie Pine lol, yeah she does, but I bet his wife is thinking....stroke his beard all you want but he's coming home with me!☺
@@sharonjones8921 i dont know. Looks like they kissed at the end
