About Eckhart:
Eckhart Tolle is widely recognized as one of the most inspiring and visionary spiritual teachers in the world today. With his international bestsellers, The Power of Now and A New Earth-translated into more than 50 languages-he has introduced millions to the joy and freedom of living life in the present moment. The New York Times has described him as “the most popular spiritual author in the United States,” and in 2011, Watkins Review (now Watkins Mind Body Spirit) named him “the most spiritually influential person in the world.”
Eckhart’s profound yet simple teachings have helped countless people around the globe experience a state of vibrantly alive inner peace in their daily lives. His teachings focus on the significance and power of Presence, the awakened state of consciousness, which transcends ego and discursive thinking. Eckhart sees this awakening as the essential next step in human evolution.
I need this constant reminder that I’m a human BEing not a doing!!!
How true. Its true
Amazing
Agreed. Ram Dass always said "Don't be busy being... Just be". e.g. don't be busy being somebody riding their bicycle, just ride your bicycle. A subtle and 'lighter' difference, but very significant. I try to remember this as much as possible in my daily practice whatever I'm 'doing'.
What a man. What an inspiration. The age old wisdom of being present, and we still need to be reminded. Thank you for teaching us what living is.
Ekhart is one of best in contemporary spiritual teachers.deep respect and gratitude 🙏
"if you are rooted in the vertical dimension things begin to also improve in the horizontal dimension" ~ Eckhart ❤

Meditation is not a doing but it's the realisation of being and there's no time in being, simple realisation that you are.
This is why techniques are fine, but eventually every technique you have to let go like a raft.
Thanks Eckhart. 23 August 2024.🦆🦆🦆🌷🌷🌷🌷🦋🦋🦋🦋🌿🌿🌿🌿🌹🌹
I love you Eckhart! I am a Native American and I love how you bring in the Gospel of Jesus in your teachings! I love how you help us to understand what Presence is and how to we are not our thoughts or our bodies and yet we are both. Most of all I love how you teach that just being you is a beautiful wonderful accomplishment!
" Hello fearful, anxious, worried thoughts and feelings, please feel free to sit down and stay as long as you need to be here and only move on when you yourself choose to do so. I no longer mind you being around"
That's a good attitude to have whenever those thoughts and feelings arise John. Hope you are at peace again mate!🙏

Dearest Eckhart, beautiful! The only reason we are in the body is to remember our true essence. Not doing more, but being pure consciousness. And after that there is no searching, just being. It takes deep courage to know self. Time space, all that is becomes you....
Rubbish. We are here to understand the body, heart and mind, and through the observation and through understanding, love for this and all human beings flowers. Tolle knows absolutely nothing about this. He's a spiritual psychopath I'm afraid. He thinks it's all about consciousness but such an attitude is quite unbelievable in the context of a destroyed Earth, and a destroyed and destructive humanity. It's precisely because we want such simple answers that avoid any understanding of our complex selves and lives that Tolle's teaching has any appeal, but if you realized how not only useless, but deceptive and destructive it was, you'd be under no doubt that Tolle is a very deluded human being who has entered the kind of non-ordinary psychopathic state we have seen in others and has often been confused with enlightenment. But this is about Tolle, who needs to accept what is becoming clear not just to me but to others, although usually they keep their criticisms to their selves. But when you ask them they almost always regard you as not very useful, or else passionless, or indifferent to the great tribulations all around you.
Oddly enough when I hemorrhaged with my last child was the calmest I'd been since a child sitting in a tree reading a book. My blood pressure stayed steady, hr as well. I drove quickly but calmly, oddly again even though it was a high traffic time I never had to stop once. I died twice on the table after my son was delivered, yet here I am....now knowing how to find that again. TY Mr. Tolle.
Thank you, Eckhart. Your teachings are a gift straight from the source, I believe. I’m a work in progress but you and your lessons have changed “my life” for the better, of course. Being rooted in presence is the most important thing you can find. I’ve had glimpses by being present but not exactly “rooted” yet. I’ll always keep observing and practicing.
Focusing in your breath it's a gate way to your being ❤
Obviously your mind loves this idea. That should be a warning sign. For what else does the mind love? Nothing good, because love puts to rest all activities of the mind. And mind puts away all things of love. That's why you can see no love in Tolle's life or teaching. His appeal is not based on love. It's based on greed, the greed in him speaking to the greed in each of us. Let's hope your stomach is soon fed up with it. Then it will revolt against itself and overturn the human world. May Nature be your coffin rather then you become the coffin of nature and her funeral mask.
@@zeroxox777 It’s only your mind’s idea about Tolle’s intentions though…
How did you conclude that Tolle does what he does out of greed?
@@Alex722 He charges the attendees of his retreats about $4,000 each. Not including the hotel accommodation! I don't agree with Zero's rather bizarre comment, but Eckhart is definitely not immune to financial greed. $4k is outrageous in my opinion, and prices out billions of people from going to his retreats. He also started putting his YT videos behind a paywall a couple of months ago.
Which is not to say I don't think there's value in Eckhart's work either. Au contraire. His videos have helped me a lot. I like him a lot. I will buy a book or two of his at some point too.

Going inward is so essential for survival. Especially in these trying times. I find that this has helped me at work in light of dealing with unconscious people.
Thank you. That is so important.
Because simply being is good but there is an order: First, we need to be inside and by this we accumulate enough energy to then be outside, with unconscious people, as you say.
Thank you very much, for all your wonderful teaching.🫶🌿

Spirituality teaches us how to master our own human consciousness by becoming aware of our true self beyond our ego. Thanks Eckhart.
If you think his teaching has done the trick, you may as well take your brain out of your head and put it in the mincer. Honestly Tolle - look what you have done to these people. Turned them into obsequious Tolle drones, spouting out idealized propaganda.
This is so true. Have been practicing meditation but I have moments where it almost seems I accidentally do it just riding down the road or sitting there I empty my mind and boom.
Eckhart, you are so welcome to Sweden! If you come here i will buy a ticket in a second. ❤
I think it is an achievement. It’s something you worked on, it took discipline and commitment. The Buddha had to sit under a tree for months. His enlightenment wasn’t by accident.
it is the realization or discovery of something that is always within. it does not require doing. it is the discovery of being. of course, there are many practices that can be very useful along the way.
@@mattg7207 I don't think that you have to work hard, except you believe it so. I think it, the realisation who we are, happens by grace.
I think what he means is, that the concept of achievement is rooted within the ego. I didn’t achieve, I just am. You’re not working hard, you’re just being. You work hard to achieve goals, money, degrees, etc. I don’t know if I explained it right. You’re in the right place. Listen to the power of now, the audiobook is fantastic.

The essence of “being” is amazing. The more I listen to Eckhart and Deepak, the more I’m able to feel my own presence. The body is truly a great tool to connect to being/presence/spirit
Another way to pulse presence is to ask on the fly, what am I and what is knowing this moment of experience. What is seeing etc
The fact that nobody talks about the book whispers of manifestation on borlest speaks volumes about how people are stuck in a trance
Please, stop this advertisment.
If it should be people will find out by themself.
Because it’s a scam…
Scam
Imagine if that were actually Eckhart Tolle.
Really? Because you people keep spamming this nonsense on every remotely spiritual video on RUclips. Seems to me you're talking (not whispering) about it quite a lot!
Ive meditated with Buddhist monks on many occasions & when you concentrate on your breathing like what they taught me, all i can say is wow, this is it, right here now, the best gift & why the present is another name for a gift. We are 1 with all & only our personalities separate us, also its so powerfully overwhelming i can understand why wars exist, i would have sooner got in a ring with Mike Tyson but meditating i assure you, brings the most overwhelming of fulfilment, it aint easy to achieve, you have to experience it yourself to know, but once you do, you know.
Thank U Master Eckhart

What if I want to be as energetic as I have been but not now. How can I be in my heart all day?

I've been told the proper way for meditation is to sit cross legged/back straight/eyes closed/slightly looking up/focus on each chakra/breathe in 6 seconds in and then out 6 seconds. This is apparently for reaching samadhi. It honestly just feels miserable and I'd rather get it over with. I almost don't wanna do any of that. I don't need all that to quiet the mind either. I'd rather just sit on the couch in some other relaxing position/eyes OPEN/maybe kind of observing everything with no labelling.
Your a miracle
No miracle s,, it is how aby body can achieve ,,, you may kindky refer bhuddist philosophy ...
Yep, too many meditative methods that lead to “missing the forest for the trees.” Start by focusing on the breath, go from there 🙏

Is it possible to Awaken from the ego without going through an awakening like you did Eckhart or are the rest of us just all doomed and your theory is a pleasant one but not really attainable?
"Catalyst is the way in" or some other divine intervention or plant medicine. Many different things can be our morning alarm **
@@damienwayne__ I’ve had plant medicine and whilst it can open a door way into a reality different to the physical plane it doesn’t necessarily keep that door way open. Even Ram Das who experienced high levels of consciousness through meditation, psychedelics, yoga ect had all the ups and downs with ego. I just sometimes feel like maybe we are meant to have this experience of ego and trying to transcend it and be in a constant space of awareness that Eckhart talks about is virtually impossible without having a spiritual awakening like he did
@abrcic1 yea it's hard to pinpoint it down as a specific thing or purpose etc. I feel whatever is meant for us will never pass us by so we can relax and know that whatever happens or doesnt--- all is still well. Maybe we awaken this lifetime or maybe another.. inevitably it'll happen. That takes the pressure off.

yes. there are hard parts in every life. Instead of "trying" to get to the peace, just do this one practice. Sit or lie down and purposely stop thinking. Instead, watch thoughts arise, like you watch your own hiccups sometimes. Where do your thoughts come from? Don't they just come up on their own? From where? From a space of silence. See how long you can stay in the silence. Outside noises are not born inside your head. Maybe pillows over the ears will help if that is a strong distraction. Listen to your silence...the place where words are born._. That is enough. Just that. Over time you will find that hearing the noises of others is just paint on the canvas of the outside world. Ahhh.....inner peace. Don't try to fix anything! People resent anyone trying to "fix" them. Just a short time in your life before you leave the situation and enter your next one. Life is just one situation after another, and if you establish a strong sense of your own self, you can manage to ignore the behavior of others. Then choose peace for yourself.

Any tips for meditating with tinnitus? I know of guided meditation but it just doesn't bring me the stillness I got from my silent meditations which I am unable to do because of tinnitus..
You can try searching RUclips for "hz frequency meditation music" and go through. There's a wide variety. Could also search for ocean waves, forest ambiance, rain sounds, or another nature-based soundscape. Drums. My brother listens to Peruvian flutes, specifically. 😐 😂
I like the frequency music, 528hz is usually the type I go for. I like to use it to alter the vibe in a room. Meditation wise, the waves are the closest I have felt to being silent with breath. Good luck!! 😊❤
I have tinnitus as well. I use it as my focal point. I can’t remove it so I make use of it. It’s my very own white noise. Helps me to remove the frustration I once had about it.

Eckhart is a modern day Jesus Christ
@markrothery8719 well said this is true but the modern day jesus got some weight.
I am unable to let a space in me in a discussion or even only listening the other person. Maybe I amb totally conscious, in peace and aware, but the moment there’s talk from the other person that I disagree with, that spaceness in me vanishes in an instant lik a a flash. I feel as the only way to maintain that desidentification with my thoughts would be not listening at all! And I can’t do that. Anyone’s thoughts that can help me?
when you are expected to be part of a conversation (or group meeting) then it is appropriate to participate. However, if you spend alone time watching your inner being-ness, you will develop an awareness that eventually will function automatically and find yourself only presenting alternatives to the group that are realistic and appropriate. You can sit in silent mind a lot to get there more quickly, but most people today prefer to engage in worldly activity. It took me 10 years to be able to hear a person's personal beliefs expressed and let that just be. to allow their beliefs to be theirs. just theirs. To feel no need to attack them or defend myself. Be patient with your own learned patterns. They have kept you safe all your life so far. Now you have a desire to change, you must allow the learned YOU to gently change to a listener. Listen to silence as well, especially inner silence when you can. Soon you will be able to find that space out of which comes thought words. That space is the great goal.
@@swatiananda 10 years? Wow. Would you mean, 10 years of daily formal sitting meditation? Do you think that the constancy on practice is the most important part? Thank you thank you very much for you response! What you said is very helpful.
No bro its not ten years, its can be done under 3 months, because I had the experience before I saw ekart tolle, and it was an accidental experience
I have many things to say but ill answer what you asked, when the other person says something, your mind will bring thoughts to disagree 95 percent, are you going to react to those thoughts or be silent, don't talk, listen, only and only when a question is asked you will say yes, you don't care what the question is but saying yes to what ever arises will destroy the egoic self, that is saying yes is acceptence, ego cannot live with acceptence, well I know you can't say yes if you asked to die or something, but thats it, and friction of the mind, that is unwanted thoughts, you know its simple but powerful, with being simply present by going alone to terrace or somewhere alone in a day for 1 yo 2hrs, I recommend you don't do things or create unwanted images in the mind, create the right thoughts when unwanted thoughts appear, you realise it and stop moving, listen to those thoughts like a watcher, that you are not it, when you do wanted things amd thoughts, you create a big impact depending on how long you been doing this, which can lead to no friction/resistance of the mind, and gaps arises, feel the air, try not use mobiles, laptops and tv, stay away from them, stay away from influential contents, and also they bring unconscious state, feel the air in terrace. Try it its simple, yet a choice. If you read it, tell me if it helps or not. So that I can know, lastly, say thank you for almost everything thing that you can appreciate, so powerful, can get you into the present.
@@ganesha8481 The anger is the problem. It’s been very strong in me since a toddler, and I didn’t learn how to tolerate opposite opinions. It’s like, If I am able to “say yes” and to not react, I don’t know what to do with such bad energy in my body, but I suppose that I am not saying a good enough ‘yes’, or a full ‘yes' to what it is. Thank you very much. It helps the idea, but I need more practice.

On a positive note - the quality of speech is not good. A lot of confusion, swallowing words and stuttering. If you control the speed of speech it can improve. Try to practice speaking in OSHO's style of speaking - very slowly and with pauses.
