The song “A Little On The Lonely Side” used in many cartoons shown here was first introduced by Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians featuring Jimmy Brown doing the lead vocal in 1945, and again by Frankie Carle & his Orchestra with Paul Allen singing lead vocal.
The Sinatra-style singing in “Catch as Cats Can” is lovely…who is doing the impression? Also the visual gag at 2:57 of Sylvester’s tail turning into a devil’s tail to show how nefarious he’s being gets me every time
If you're still looking for Every Time a certain piece of music is used in Classic Looney Tunes, I would LOVE to see Every Time "There's Music In The Land" Was Used in Classic Looney Tunes. That was the music used in "Two Guys from Texas", which also had an animated sequence featuring Bugs Bunny. I know it's in "Frigid Hare", "Boobs in the Woods", and "A Ham in the Role". I know it's also in that documentary short "So Much for So Little", but I don't think that counts as an official Looney Tunes short, even though it's the same people. So... I guess only three examples. It's small, but it's a good song.
It’s used in “The Scarlet Pumpernickel” when Daffy begins his story and when The Scarlet Pumpernickel changes from his gentleman disguise into his hero costume.
Do you know the music that plays in a "a fractured leghorn" when the cat chases the worm around the tractor? Is the same that's plays at the closing of "home tweet home" and when silvester hits the dog with a shovel, and same in "the fast and furry-ous" before road runner stops in front of the tray cloche

It’s character actor Dave Barry doing the voice for the Frank Sinatra bird.

Excellent work. Can you consider to make the "Jolly Robbers Overture"? Very common in Road Runner cartoons.
It’s also used in “Design for Leaving” when the robot splashes Elmer with water when he smokes.
