Water mist is one the options, that has been shown to be potentially effective for steel ships (refer DNV report on this )carrying EV’s. Sprinkler systems have known issues for EV’s.

43:22 I think the solution could be foam released when there is a fire in a carpark building. The foam would suffocate the fire and hopefully stop from spreading.

On the matter of carpark fires. You think it bad now, wait until a carpark building full of electric cars catches on fire. In that case, the sprinkler system probably will not help.

I have witnessed two different tailings dams fail and overflow at a mine. The speed with which the wall went down with the first overflow of water is unbelievable and the wall of water was mere seconds behind it. There is no way in the world that I could live downstream from any large dam. And those dams were minute in comparison to these huge capacity dams.

Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !"
Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ."
Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!"
Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..."
Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!"
Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky."
Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction."
Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"

My personal thoughts about the Stuttgart 21 Station - build beneath-stay on the ground !
There is no argument AGAINST the Tunnel Station, except the costs ; closing up the whole surface station is just stupid- not a lot of increases in usage will be possible for the Deutschland-Takt timetable…

Very interesting. I'm at the Liverpool car park fire now. The first thought I had was"Where were the sprinklers?" Sprinklers are, and have been, part of car park building regulations here in Ontario, Canada for decades. Underground car parks also are off limits to cars powered by anything other than gasoline. The electric cars are going to complicate things further

      as ever..
without well funded regulation to do constant inspections without warning things all to easely boils down to ''public person gets pr of clipping a band opening crap... but signing of needed raise for the maintenance budget on dull papper is far lees prestigious''
i mean.. no sprinklers in a carpark ? is that not begging for a large scale fire to start and turn it into a oversized metal pyre :/

The dam was a huge over reaction by people that didn't have a clue.
A wall broke on the spill way because the gates were opened too quickly.
Why didn't they use the emergency spillway.
No danger of the dam collapsing.

Car park fires are scary and they will become even worse with the new electric vehicles.
A sprinkler system isn't effective on electric vehicle fires since the battery chemicals don't need oxygen from the air.
One EV can trigger a disaster.

The criticism of Stuttgart 21 is largely unjustified. Ok. It is delayed, over budget. Ok. It has only 8 platforms. But they are large enough that two trains can stop at one platform. Ok. It has a slope of 1,5 % . But that is not unusual .Ok. Some commuter routes in the Stuttgart region will take longer. But
Stuttgart 21 is not only the train station. It includes new tracks that are being built that will actually shorten commutes. Ok. The old station will be obsolete. It will not be demolished. It will be converted to a shopping mall and residential buildings.

12:20 ish ''should be prepared for anything mother nature throws its way'' ...yee , mother nature is just gona bend over laughing at that then wink at the climate changes increasing escalation and go BRRRRRR! one day or another..
i mean ,those things sounds more like basic repairs so the emergency spillways can function at all for a gentle prolonged opening ...not say increasingly rapid waterflow as increasingly frequent storms starts pour more onto it while its still trying to handle the extra flow from the last storm or change the fact.. the thing is built on land that if you insist on a dam there should been dug down to bedrock and made the dam itself out of concrete ..not the easy to wash away mud and fragile rock on the location itself XD

“Bahá'í Scriptures teach that, as trustees of the planet's vast resources and biological diversity, humanity
must seek to protect the "heritage [of] future generations;" see in nature a reflection of the divine; approach the earth, the source of material bounties, with humility; temper its actions with moderation; and be guided by the fundamental spiritual truth of our age, the oneness of humanity. The speed and facility with which we establish a sustainable pattern of life will depend, in the final analysis, on the extent to which we are willing to be transformed, through the love of God and obedience to His Laws, into constructive forces in the process of creating an ever-advancing civilization”
(The Baha'i International Community, 1995 Apr 06, Conservation and Sustainable)
"... the Pen of the Centre of the covenant[Abdu’l-Bahá(The servant of the glory of God)]has repeatedly prophesied the intolerable calamities which must beset, this wayward humanity ere it heeds the life-giving Teachings of Bahá'u'lláh(The promised one of all ages)."
"Chaos and confusion are daily increasing in the world. They will attain such intensity as to render the frame of mankind unable to bear them. Then will men be awakened and become aware that religion (The Bahá’í’ Faith) is impregnable stronghold and the manifest light of the world, and its laws, exhortations and teachings the source of life on earth."
    (Shoghi Effendi-Compilations, Lights of Guidance, p. 126)
BAHA’U’LLAH (The promised one of all ages) is the divine physician who diagnoses the world’s malady; for the whole planet is ill and needs the power of a great specialist. Writing to the sovereigns of the world, He summoned that the hour for unity had struck-unity between countries, unity between religions. In this period of its evolution, the world of humanity is in danger. Every war is against the good pleasure of the Lord of mankind, for man is the edifice of God and war destroys the divine edifice. If an active, actual peace is brought about, the human world will attain to the utmost serenity and composure; wolves will be transformed into lambs, devils into angels, and terrors into divine splendours in less than the twinkling of an eye. BAHA’U’LLAH’S teachings are the health of the world. They represent the spirit of this age, the light of this age, the well-being of this age, the soul of this cycle. The world will be at rest when they are put into practice, for they are reality.
Abdu'l-Baha (The servant of God)), Divine Philosophy, p. 84]
“According to the teaching of the Prophets, disease and all other forms of calamity are due to disobedience to the Divine Commands. Even disasters due to floods, hurricanes, and earthquakes are attributed by 'Abdu'l-Bahá indirectly to this cause. The suffering that follows error is not vindictive, however, but educative and remedial. It is God's Voice proclaiming to man that he has strayed from the right path. If the suffering is terrible, it is only because the danger of wrongdoing is more terrible, for "the wages of sin is death." Just as calamity is due to disobedience, so deliverance from calamity can be obtained only be obedience. There is no chance or uncertainty about the matter. Turning from God inevitably brings disaster, and turning to God as inevitably brings blessing.”
[Dr. J.E. Esslemont, Bahá’u’lláh (The promised one) and the New Era, p. 95]

What the government & car manufacturers don't want you to know is this. The Land Rover in question was professionally examined & determined to be a Hybrid vehicle, which has a small lithium battery pack (just behing the left front wheel) exactly where the ferocity of the blaze began! The vehicle was parked. If you ask a firefighter if an electric vehicle can even be approached, he/she will tell you it's just not possible! Check the internet about electric car fires & see how full of BS this story is! Niether gasoline nor diesel burn at temperatures anywhere near what it takes to leaken a section of concrete, just the exact dimentions of the car, long before the rest of the garage failed. I saw it in swow motion as if it had melted the concrete. Concrete doesn't melt, but you'd think so if you saw it first hand. Electric cars are a precious pocket filling arrangement for top tier government officals, why do you think that they want it so bad? Ev's lack the battery technoly to be carbon foot neutral untll 7 years after purchase over internal combustion cars. That number is never attained if your elecricity comes from a fossil fuel generation plant. When will these liars learn that only suckers listen to BS!
