The summer of the camoati

This drama recounts the moment an adolescent takes his first adult decisions. Nico is 17 years old and lives with his parents in a rural area of the Rio Negro Valley. His world is in a state of turmoil: his friends are getting ready to leave the town in search of new experiences, his parents expect him to start studying at university, and Ana, his childhood friend, begins to turn into attractive girl whom he realizes he is starting to fall in love with. Nico has become interested in bee-keeping and in new techniques of fruit production. He studies how to introduce organic production into agricultural practice, and investigates the negative effects of an excessive use of agro-chemicals. He falls out with his father over the Latter, for his father´s prime concern is to guarantee abundant harvests on the family farm. The relationship between the two is reaching a critical juncture when Nico surprises everyone b y announcing his decision to stay and work on the farm. The decision will cause him to grow and find his own niche.
