Another interesting fact: Despite seeming to have a gender difference in the movie, based on the color of the Gem and facial crest, Deoxys has never had this feature in the games. (The movie had two Deoxys. One with a purple gem and crest, same as the games, and one with a mint-green gem and crest)

I was trying to evolve my Seadra and they actually traded me a Shiny Deoxys. They took my Kingdra but that’s ok, have it. That duel with Rayquaza was epic

They had all of the game data for Deoxys, they just never released it but apparently a hacker in China or something hacked the game and released Deoxys, giving everyone a shiny Deoxys.

I was so excited when I took my leaf green to these 2 events one event I got the aurora ticket which took me to birth island to battle Deoxys and the other was the mystic ticket that took me to the Naval rock to battle ho-oh & Lugia
If you think about it, this could be hinted that there are other planets in the Pokémon universe in the far galaxy that have their own Pokémon, Pokedex and maybe on one of those planets Deoxys could be considered a Legendary Pokémon
i mean if by unique you mean 1 singular pokemon having the theme then yeah. there’s not too many of those. majority of legendary pokemon share their themes with their counterparts
If Deoxys is considered demoted to legendary status then at least the Gen 4 mythicals alongside Keldeo and Meloetta should be treated similarly, as you can obtain those mythicals in-game without an event distribution either (In PLA for the Gen 4 mythicals, SwSh for Keldeo, and SV for Meloetta)

Here's a fun fact. Deoxys is the only pokemon that has FOUR forms and can transform between the two at will. It's also the only pokemon who can actually focus it's stats into each form. Speed maxes out it's speed. Attack maximizes its attack. And Defense maximizes its defense stats. Attack form has extremely low defense while Defense form has barely any attack at all. Kind of wish it had an ability that allowed it to change form in battle.

In Gen 3, Deoxys *could* actually change form, but you could only do it by trading Deoxys to a game where its form is different, and it would only be that form in that game, so if you traded it back from say, Emerald, it would revert back to speed form. Thank goodness for the meteorites in later games.
a couple fun facts in the manga, theres 2 deoxys hes not one of a kind. he had the mewtwo treatment and was in a lab by team rocket (both of them, one escaped) and speaking of mewtwo they fought in the manga which was pretty cool, and deoxys can talk through technology
Attack form in gen 3 was ridiculous out sped almost everything and if you hit a super effective move they are 99% going down just have to use it strategically
Always gonna be one of the best mythical designs in the series, up there with darkrai and genesect.
