I don't think its weird this is first as its just a teaser for us DC fans with some cool easter eggs etc General Audience wont even know about this so its not gonna cause confusion tbh
The penguin show is what the Arkham show supposedly turned into, I believe there was also meant to be a GCPD type show or they just had a bunch of different ideas for shows; but they only had funding for a single show set in their own universe so they decided on the penguin series. I wish we could’ve also gotten a Gotham Central type series adapted to screen as it could be amazing with the right passionate people behind the scenes working on it and connecting it to this version of Batman could work or even setting it in the DCU at some point depending on how that turns out tonally.
Batman is always best when he's fighting gangsters and just general bad guys not aliens. i know that batman is not in this it is ok. this is much more a day in the life of Gotham as a gangster and I'm so here for it
DC do tend to have this issue where if their animated stuff is great their live action stuff is bad and hopefully the reverse doesn’t come true whenever the DCU starts.
Yeah. I’ve always had this sentiment. Whereas marvel had so so animation in a lot of regards and good live action stuff. Well. Starting in the 2000’s hahah.
the DC Animated movies lately have been REALLY questionable. Their vision leading up to the Crisis trilogy was way too ambitious and each movie felt under baked on it's own because it was too concerned with dropping bread crumbs for Crisis. I appreciate the planned scope but the execution is leaving much to be desired. Their best movies are the one offs. The else-world stuff. Batman: Soul of the Dragon is probably my favorite from the past 10 years because it can stand on it's own, is super unique and looks gorgeous in 4k.
Also Nick that actor from Man of Steel and Penguin is Michael Kelly and he didn't play the guy who was going down with the building. He played Daily Planet sports reporter Steve Lombard... the guy who openly hits on interns in front of his co-workers and everyone just laughs it off. The guy who dies in Wayne Tower is played by Hugh Maguire RIP, who is also the hiring manager for the Overlook Hotel in Doctor Sleep. That's a dumb fact I had in my brain. Yay! Dumb facts. Yes I'm stoned. 4:20 was 30 minutes ago. Are you even still reading this nonsense?
I like how I'm the exact opposite of their take on the Penguin. To me it looks too grounded and that's not what I want from a comic adjacent projects even adjacent to Batman as it's somewhat grounded but he still is nongrounded at the same time. To everyone liking the look of the door though, here's hoping it's good for you.
That Creature Commandos teaser didn’t make me laugh once nor do the characters look particularly creative or intriguing. I’m gonna have to hear that this is so brilliantly written for me to give it a chance
They’ve literally announced that’s booster gold is getting his own project since the James Gunn & Peter Saffron announcement.
I think that the most exciting aspects of the show is that Circie is the villian and Frankenstien potential

GCPD show morphed into the Arkham show.
Wrong. The Penguin had NO correlation with Arkham or GCPD.
They already had gotham. Gcpd show would be too similar to that show
It’s not
@@sup3414they all had correlation they were all pitched at once

But still no Agatha trailer reaction?
Nick I feel like you were thinking of a Snyder cut rewatch. Unless you misspoke when you said 4 hours in. The Batman’s only 3 hours
at least it had its own vibe
These clowns are gonna eat their words

I've missed this content
Ryan Reynolds or Scott Clifton would've been the perfect Booster Gold.
Booster Gold is supposed to be a recent college graduate. Those guys are older than the rumored casting.
@@Pietotheskyscotts 7 years younger than Kumail

Not everything has to be a stupid comedy show with dick jokes.
