Based on alerts I've seen about full parking, I fully believe it can be. Just depends what time one is willing to wake up and how long they spend there. A sunrise hike, for example, and taking off from the park at 10-11am can be very doable. 🤫😉
I really appreciate your "trails less traveled" videos. We have seen the most popular places ( Bryce, Zion, Yosemite, etc. in the West) so now exploring uncrowded alternatives.
Thank you so much! We're kind of in the same boat. We've seen many of the nearby National Parks (and enjoy them! ....and might have recently visited anyway 😅) but always are seeking out more secluded alternatives.
COOL 😎 Find as an alternative to Bryce! Off-the-beaten path is awesome. (What a day you had trying to get out of town. Great job of hanging in there and still making it happen, just about six hours later. )👍
Haha! Yeah, we both had a heck of a time that afternoon/evening. I dropped Glenn off at the car rental location and headed home not expecting that an hour later he'd be calling saying that he had to go purchase a new phone. I then played traffic reporter as his new phone wasn't fully set up afterwards. It was a night! I'm glad he went though too and that I was able to find this place at the last minute. Might never have discovered it otherwise though so maybe a blessing in disguise! 😅
Thanks so much! Yeah, wasn't a great start but things picked up after that. And had that evening not gone that way, we might not have found this place so... all worked out in the end. 😁
What a beautiful place to have mostly to yourself! You got some amazing footage on this hike of the arch and the hoodoos and the canyon. Thanks for sharing this solid alternative to Bryce Canyon!
Nice video (thanks for posting) and good job pronouncing "Losee" Trail correctly ... and yes, locals do pronounce Zion as "Zi-en" rather than "Zi-on". 🙂
Thank you so much! It's so hard to get local pronunciations correct sometimes. Even ones around here are inexplicably different from how one would be taught previously. 😅
Haha! We Utahns do pronounce it Zye-uhn. We also say mountain like mou-uhn. So there is that. I had a college roommate from PA and she thought I had some strange pronounciations. But the feeling was mutual haha. This place looks like an awesome hidden gem.
It seems every region says things a little uniquely and that's kind of what makes things fun (and frustrating sometimes! 😅). But yeah, TOTAL hidden gem. Not huge but certainly a quick little stop that can easily fit into a day of other activities. 👍
I have yet to make it to the arches or bryce but I really think I will like this park better, arches national park is underrated...it's kinda how I had never even heard of Zion and now it seems to be more widely known...or maybe I'm just seeing more videos because I love it! lol...Utah is absolutely SPECTACULAR
@@CactusAtlas For sure, I'm new to photography (apparently, with the feedback I've been given, I have an "eye" for it) and this is after 20+years of having bad vision & getting it fixed, so I def plan on going back to Zion and going to the arches so I can get those amazing photos!
Great video. Who cares about pronunciation, it's the great videos we're here for!
LOL. Glad to hear that! Thank you. 😄 It's always so hard to know to pronounce everything each place you go.
This is a great find. Such a beautiful place. I'm sure Bryce on Labor Day Weekend would have been like going to Disneyland as far as crowds go.

Beautiful……I’ve been here almost from the very beginning. One of my favorite channels:)
Thanks so much for sticking with us all this time. We appreciate it! 😄🎉
Wow 🤩 this is a great Bryce alternative 👍 awesome views 😀
It really is! Thank you so much for watching our video!

What a beautiful tour! I love the bright blue skies in the SW as well!! Sorry for your bad luck but having that place to yourself looks amazing!

Thank you! It was a happy last minute find. Thanks for watching! 😃
That works both way! On pronunciation… hahah lol 😂😂 you sound normal to me! I’m with you on Zion!
Haha. There's some screwy ways of pronouncing things here too. 🤣

Bryce is a wonderful place. Utah remains one of our favorite states for being out in nature. So many stunning places!

Good choice for a location. I prefer less people. They can be so annoying.
100% agree! Not to mention to challenges when filming like we do. No one to quiet the set. 🤣
