I think you have hit the nail on the head about the problems we face and why Pakistan is where it is today politically and economically. I think you should also talk about the lack of education among Pakistanis in general which leads to the notions of a Messiah or supporting parties and leaders based on social status and cast. I think the biggest struggle Pakistani people have right now is getting the right education which enlightens their thinking and broadens their capacity to think for themselves and gives them confidence in making the right choices when it comes to politics. 2ndly i think you should also talk about checks and balances in our political system and how their is an absolute absence of any accountability on part of the politicians and those working in the civil military sectors.

While I think this is quite detailed and somewhat accurate, I wanted to add that India and Indians by extension were largely secular and focused on internal issues than external projection.Yes we have had numerous issues, which we are still solving and dissimilar to any living being, the nation learns from mistakes. I really hope and pray, that Pakistan does so as well. Since a good neighbour is a key for us too!
India was never "secular". The only reason why India remained "secular" on paper was because without it there would have been multiple Nation States instead of a India. Those during the time of partition were very much aware of the pre-mughal/british India which was governed by the 'Manuvadi' system. Nobody from punjab to kerala or assam to maharashtra or bengal had any idea of what a India governed by Hindus or a hindu rastra would be like. That's the reason Ambedkar being a Dalit was serious with the constitution.
What RSS achieved in the last 70 yrs is that they changed the education system to a large extend which taught about the caste atrocities revised it by overly demonizing the mughals and the British which helped them hijack the minds of the general population and accept the rss led bigotry of a 'hindu rastra' which their ancestors once opposed.

Idiot it was not about religion but about language which pakistan failed to recognize. Congress understood that languages are important for every community in India and they created states based upon language and recognized their language instead of forcing hindi on them like Pakistan did. Congress did one thing wrong they unnecessarily glorified mughals while most of them committed atrocities on hindus and sikhs. Even today we have original fatwas of aurangzeb for destroying temples. People in Pakistan don't even know how elections work in India and how muslim forms the most vital votebank to win elections in India.

I have lived in Christian dominated neighbourhood,and i know how many of themfeel about other religions,muslim society as whole is self understandable. I am a news junkie and watch tons of videos on RUclips, and this is the most sophisticated and well studied critic I ever witnessed. Being Indian, I was not aware of the contribution of Pandit Nehru in nation building and setting the foundation stone for a strong democracy for India.

It is only reason but not the main reason. To know the main reason, we need to find its root cause started from "Objective Resolution - 1949 to Martial Laws to Selection of Nawaz to Rejection of Imran Khan..... Only Army is not totally and wholly and solely wrong, there are many other factors too! Lack of Leadership and Vision Clarity, Strategy(s), Specific Goals and many other Socio-Economic factors i.e. Economic, Educational, Political Models and still lot more factors, can't be described here as this space is too short and not enough.
To cut it short, we must not and can never blame only one factor for whole disaster or destruction rather we must think it with "Systematic Thinking" where all the components working together produce the results and cannot produce result whilst working individually. I hope you got my point.
@@iq2823 I understand wholly where you're coming from but you have to see the current mess Pakistan is in, there's no way out other than people holding its military accountable. The army is too strong, it has economical interests aside from political. They are high on plots, factories and revenue they get from their companies while influencing the country's economic policies, completely on a feudal power trip. There is no way on earth they'd leave all this wealth just for the sake of democracy. Everyday a new set of acres of land gets transferred to them. It's too idealistic to say one day a General or Chief of the Fauji Foundation will wake up and decide to sacrifice all of its institution's stake to save Pakistani democracy.
While I agree there is lack of vision etc. That too is because the higher ups have made sure this remains to distract people from focusing on economic & social growth, rather talk about Kashmir and garbage, therefore plundering the country while sending their own families to the west. The higher ups I mentioned involve all the elite of Pakistan including generals, commanders, Zameendar Politicians, Judges and Real Estate/Sugar Mafias. Interestingly, they have this power because the army allows them too while having their own share of wealth.
When USA was in Pak, Pak was successful, then India was with Russia and going down. Then Indians realized this thing and established ties with Israel to please USA. Now Pak is with China and Russia, is going down. USA is in India, result India is going up lol

As an Indian I especially liked the last segment on trade relations. If Pakistan wants to improve its economy & focus more on geoeconomics, then it must start trading with all its neighbours especially India.

The first problem with India is their obsession with Pakistan. Their media always discusses Pakistan full of hate speech while our media rarely talk about India. I wonder why we get so much attention there. Are they fans of Pakistan? This is a true fact or they are using hate speech to make things worse. Yes Pakistan has several problems but kets not forget that India is also playing it's part in not maintaining regional peace. The Second second problem is propaganda which unfortunately exists on both sides. Pakistan always shows videos of Indian officers and mob beating Muslims and destroying their property while India always shows some minority in Pakistan getting killed. Both of these are true but also not true. These incidents happen on both sides of the border but on selected places maybe once or twice a year. But media of both he countries love to fuel negativity so that the citizens of that particular country can feel proud of themselves instead of showing positive stuff because negativity sells. You see the mindset of both the countries is poor. The same thing happens in elections. Pakistan uses Islam while India uses Hindurasta. Pakistan will show you that India is poor and dirty who doesn't have toilets while India will show you that everyone here is a terrorist. Both of these things are true to some extent such as there are terrorist attacks in Pakistan in the past and now maybe once a year while in India poverty does exists which is why a lot of Indians have gave up their citizenship and moved overseas due to frustration because India's population is very high. Our poverty has always been slightly less but in recent years and espacially now it has increased rapidly due to very weak economy and political instability. But you can't say that the entire population is like that. So both the countries use propaganda. Then there are people on both sides of the border who want peace and friendship. At the same time there are such people on both sides of the border who always wants us to fight. The problem lies with both sides. The only difference is that India is politically stable due to strong constitution and no army interference. Also ( if I am not wrong but I most probably am wrong) our army is also very corrupt that is still using feudalism model used decades ago in Europe. I don't know who did 26/11. It could be from the army or from the other side of the group which I mentioned earlier that dont want peace with India under any circumstances because they are living in a fantasy world just like a group of people in India who who want Akhand Bharat and rebuild Indian Empire. I see many common problems here with the exception of strong democracy and strong economy present in India while we dont have that. I could be wrong but I think Modi is not good for India in the long term because he is doing the exact same thing which Gen Zia did through Islamaisation and severely weakened the tolerance values of Paksitan from which Pakistan never recovered. I believe political secularism is the best model while Sharia should be limited to Muslims personal life not politics. Is India 100% secular. Well in my opinion it is not mostly secular but not completely because there has never been a muslim PM there. But there model works even if it came from the west. Besides I wish the best for both countries but for us the situation seems unfortunate because we cant get rid of corrupt army generals meddling in country's affairs in order to make big bucks and then move overseas.
