Shake It Up revolves around the adventures of best friends Rocky Blue (Zendaya) and CeCe Jones (Bella Thorne), who with the help of their longtime friend, Deuce Martinez (Adam Irigoyen), fulfill their favorite dreams of becoming professional dancers when they land roles as dancers on a local show, "Shake It Up, Chicago!".Cece and Rocky deal with their circumstances, by adapting and maintaining their social status at school while watching CeCe's little brother, Flynn (Davis Cleveland), and the antics of their TV show which includes their matching the skills of their competition, notably brother and sister, Gunther and Tinka (Kenton Duty and Caroline Sunshine).The show also has storylines which include Rocky's brother Ty (Roshon Fegan), who also has dance skills.Selena Gomez sings the theme song, "Shake It Up" and featured it on "Shake It Up: Break It Down"

Season 1: It was longer
Season 2: longer as normal
Season 3: it was shorter
Why is season 3 shorter but not season 1?

And Kenton Duty weren’t in the season 3 intro and it was shorter
Cuz both of them is in every season

While Caroline Sunshine were in the Season 2-3 intro
And if Caroline sunshine we’re in the episodes of season 1, then why weren’t she in the season 1 intro

Why did the theme song get shorter? They cut out my favorite part! That sh-sh-sh-shake it up part! And like 3 clips are ACTUALLY from season 3. :(

I believe it is because theme songs have generally been getting shorter with shows being aired at the moment. The appeal to long intros has gone away.

Caroline Sunshine was not credited in season 1 because Disney had a rule that only 6 actors can be credited. Like Jessie, Good Luck Charlie, Wizards of Waverly Place etc.
That's a lie because in season 2 they had 7 actors in the opening titles

It's shorter because Kenton Duty isn't going to be a main cast member on the show anymore I think a guest appearance but that's about it. I live in Australia and they've never aired this intro before, however this season will air in February for us.
