Pre-Shading A Monolithic Zirconia Bridge

- After a zirconia restoration has been milled out of the block by the milling machine, it has to be pre-shaded before sintering. This video, taken in our dental lab, shows one of our dental technicians pre-shading a 3 unit monolithic zirconia bridge, which starts as a painting on of detail, and ends in a soak of the desired overall shade. Then it is dried and the inside whipped clean before sintering. And we finish by showing a quick overview of the entire process that went into making this bridge, from arrival at the laboratory, until it is packed to send to the dentist.

Wow Doctor - that was very interesting! I've always wondered how that process was done. But the time-lapse at the end - it was a little too quick. I'll bet a dentist - someone trained in this area - would be able to follow it, but for us non-dentist people it was too quick to follow.
Also, congratulations on focusing - many people have a hard time when shooting small objects but you nailed each shot. Great job!

What do you have to do to be a Lab Technician. what schools are available.

The fact is this is a easy career to have and this steps are mostly with stone or wax and some machinery ,
Don more research be observant and don't ask for help , they won't give it to you , they make easy money do you think they want to share that information
What is the dipping time of zirconia bridge.?
The Amount of time varies on the amount of chroma needed for that particular shade.
