    I'd like to let you know, that I have recieved my Alternating pressure mattress. This exact one! It sits at the foot of my bed and it is WONDERFUL!! A while ago Me, My Mom, and our friend Georgine set it up on my hospital bed. This thing was a smooth set up, and It works GREAT! When It goes between cycles, and I hear that small hiss, I become concerned, because I keep worrying that there is a leak in it. There's not. I'm going to bennifit from this alternating pressure mattress. It doesn't even sound like an Aquarium Pump in a fish tank, which works perfectly for me. I want to thank you all at Vive!! Te standard Non-Air hospital mattress was causing me problems, but this mattress is not going to be so hard on mybody! I'm going to love this thing! I'm a ventilator dependent patient, who relies on a ventilator to assist my breathing and I have a whole lot of health issues. This air mattress is one step in the right direct

    Whenever i switch off the power supply of motor, the air bed automatically deflats..So there is any defect or hole in the bed or else the power supply nedds to be on for 24/7????
    If the power supply is on for 24/7 does there is any chance that the motor damages due to excessive heating???
    Looking for a promt reply quickly..Thank you sir🙏🏻

    • @ViveHealth
      @ViveHealth  3 года назад +1

      Hello! Yes, the power supply is designed to be turned on while in use, otherwise the air would not alternate within the pressure pad and you increase the risk of developing bedsores. If you have other questions please take a look at the FAQ page for this product on our website 👉 vhealth.link/4bn

    Hi .. if all the chambers are inflated to max, how will it alternate? I just received this today. Not sure if it’s working or not.

    • @ViveHealth
      @ViveHealth  5 лет назад +2

      Hi T Choudri,
      Not all the chambers will inflate to max. Every other chamber should inflate, and then after a few minutes, the pump will move the air from those inflated chambers to the deflated ones. You should be able to press on the rows of cells and feel which are inflated more than the others.

      Hello there! 👋 Alternating Pressure Pads are typically used to provide relief from bed sores and other skin problems caused by extended bedrest, promoting increased circulation while reducing pressure and skin breakage. The variable pressure mattress pad evenly distributes body weight to relieve pressure spots for exceptional support and comfort. People who could benefit most from this product are typically: seriously ill; not mobile; have spinal cord injury; do not eat a proper diet; wear prosthesis; smoke; are incontinent of stool or urine; have diabetes; have COPD or heart failure; have Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, or heart failure; or have a broken hip or have had a recent hip surgery.
      Hope this helps!

    • @ViveHealth
      @ViveHealth  3 года назад +1

      Hi there! There is not any special secret, but you could try letting it deflate as much as it can on it's own, then roll it up from the top toward the bottom with the holes in an attempt to push the air out!
      We hope this helps!

    I'd like more info about the noise level. Is it a constant soft hum, or do you only hear the motor/blower whatever it is when the device is inflating the mattress? And I'd like a better description about what exactly the sound of the pump sounds like. I'm going to be getting one for my hospital bed. I'm a ventilator patient, who has a tracheostomy. Now One of my questions is, does it sound more like a small compressor? The ones I've heard in the past sound similar to the pump that is attached to a fish tank. I've heard blowers make a more soothing sound, that just sounds like a blower, and Not the aquarium sound. I HATE the sound of an aquarium pump. I'm getting this unit, the one with the dial.

    • @ViveHealth
      @ViveHealth  2 года назад

    Does this machine have low air loss? That is where there's like a layer of thin air coming through the mattress to keep the patient's body from accumulating moisture. I'm not sure if this is fancy enough to have that. It looks like it's just something that inflates, and alternates. Nothing really fancy, but I'm not sure if it has the low air loss.
