Also if you pull up Omid first on the train, he'll lash out at Lee and say something about her condition, but Christa will interrupt and say she's fine
Yeah it was real subtle. Idk why the first time I played that was my thought from the very first scene with them when Omid says "what about when..." and she tells him be quiet. They assumed she was bit 😂
It always tickles me how many male commentators playing this game never pick up on Krista being pregnant, but a lot of the women I've seen play catch-on really fast.
No kidding lmao, I called it immediately when she first threw up. When she cried at the Crawford tapes, it was really obvious. I think women just recognize the early symptoms faster because they’re SO common (sensitivity to smell is a big one).
Theres a few male commentators I seen play this who did pick it up quick on christa being preg. I guess with these guys they just didn’t pay much attention to it..
@@GarfieldWithAHat I always interpreted her choosing to drink was because she wasn’t comfortable telling the group she was pregnant yet; since she wasn’t ready to explain why she didn’t want to drink, she felt like she had to go along with drinking so as to not give it away (esp since she and Omid were still pretty new and deciding how much they trusted the group). Her hesitancy was what made Kenny realize it though. Maybe personal interpretation but I can’t imagine Christa choosing to risk drinking alcohol while pregnant because “she needed a drink,” but I can see her risking it if she’s uncertain about how safe she’d be revealing that information (essentially choosing between two risks)
Clem’s voice actress in this episode blew it out of the water. She had me choked up a few times. You can really feel the distress in Clem’s voice, it’s heartbreaking.
Him not telling Clementine to find Omid and Christa is WILD, like I really can't imagine not telling a little girl there's two people she's familiar with that are trying to find her and take care of her... 😅
"So shoot me in the head and then... idk... go out that door and start your new life" 😂 imagine if the storyline COMPLETELY relied on your choices lmao
That was definitely... a choice by our guy Diamond Dave. "Don't trust anyone" is a pretty valid thing to say in the world of TWD but... I feel like a 9-year-old can trust two people she's been traveling with who want to take care of her.

This wasn’t the first video game to put the story front and center. I can never watch the final scene between Clem and Lee without getting emotional. also, I'm kind of shocked that you told Clem to not trust anyone when she would be alone and you knew where Christa and Omid would be lol regardless, I enjoyed this playthrough and I'm looking forward to the rest of this incredible series! 😃
No fault of you guys but you missed the funniest moment, theres a choice right before the walkers get into the house where Christa says the house is sturdy then they break in and lee just says "sturdy my ass"
I was so sure I wouldn't cry this time. But then Lee hits us with the "I'll miss you" 😭 This was such an amazing first season. I'm really glad you guys are taking this journey. It only gets better from here. ❤ Rip Lee, you are greatly missed.
I think it was Diamond Dave who asked if anyone had seen a play through of TWD were bad responses were given. I have...and it was hilarious. He called "The Walking Dead Asshole Edition". It was so bad that that after he got bitten, he had to go look for Clem by himself...no one wanted to come with him.
tbh the main reason for not cutting Lee's hand off is that the chopping your way through the walkers to get to Clem is even more badass if he's got both hands! this was a fun journey, can't wait to see the following seasons :) i'm so surprised to see the 95/5 split on having Clem shoot Lee. i always tell her to leave him, it feels like, despite knowing what's coming, it's this last sliver of innocence Lee can allow her to have, his last chance to protect her; like even though she might have to do it later, she doesn't have to do it now, to Lee.
definitely play the season one dlc “400 days” before starting season two! it doesn’t contribute much to the overall story (new, unrelated characters), but i still liked it and appreciated the bonus content. loved watching you play this game & am really looking forward to the next season! the first two seasons are my favorites 💛
"She's pregnant? Must have missed that." Omid and Christa subtly, but indirectly, imply this multiple times. The biggest giveaways, however, are: Christa throws up when retrieving the dog collar and Omid gives her a worried look. Christa sees the video of the pregnant woman in Crawford and starts crying. Christa hesitates and looks at her belly when Kenny offers her alcohol, then Kenny gives her a concerned look as he puts 2 and 2 together.
if you don’t take Lee’s arm then he passes out a lot more frequently, like one example is when you’re climbing up the ladder he’ll pass out and wake up upside down so taking it off is the better way to go. Lee does die no matter what, if you leave his arm on he dies from the bite, if you take his arm off he dies from blood loss. loved watching you guys play!! this is my absolute favorite game series ever (especially the first season) and i really hope y’all play the rest of them!!!
Lee Everett: This creepy guy has dug in like an Alabama tick. 1:08:44 Badd Medicine: You're hit man.. you're bleeding. Lee Everett: I ain't got time to bleed.
You guys should do 400 days then go into season 2 I can’t wait for it. I like how they finished off Kenny’s arc, he did something selfless and sacrificed himself for the kid who got his family killed, he saw Ben as a scared kid and he didn’t want to leave him to die alone in a brutal way
Is it the canon ending for Kenny when he sacrifices himself for Ben? In season two his fate is left unknown unless you choose the other option for him to get shot or get eaten if you stay with him and baby aj.
So glad you’re not taking a break in between the different “game” seasons! Can’t wait to watch more!! I was late on TWD show train - I binged all of it in one month with my fiancé in 2022 and it’s been one of my favorites ever since!
These guys have revived my obsession with this game 😭 I can't wait to see them play the rest of the seasons!! This season and the 4th one are especially my favorites.
When you realize lee couldve been alone on his trip to find clementine at the hospital morgue, it makes sense that he was forced to do everything alone as the party stands around and asks questions (besides the fact you are the person playing). It's still silly, but that's why he does even more of Everything at that section than one might expect lol
I’ve never been this early! Time to cry first thing in the morning 👌👌👌 I’m unbelievably excited for y’all to play season 2, I personally love the whole series up to the end, but season 2 is really something special
This was one of the very first video games I played when actually getting into video games and Lee's death hit me harder than I ever imagined it could. I think it was the mix of us losing everyone we started with besides Clem, that final scene with Lee and Clem together, and putting myself as Lee. I cried so hard I had a headache for the rest of the day. Even now probably a decade later since I first played it, I get teary and my throat starts hurting when Clem starts crying. I also loved the next seasons, including the third one, even though it's a hit-or-miss for a lot of folks. Telltale did such an amazing job with these, the style is so good for a comic-inspired game, the VAs did a fantastic job, and the ability to make its players feel strong emotions was great like overall imo this is one of the best choice-based games even 12 years later. There's a reason it's so loved and it has earned its spot as one of my favorite games.
31:33 - walker!Bree climbing in through the window (she went with you & Vernon into Crawford). Great playthrough guys! There is a DLC for this series called _400 Days_ which takes place between this season and season 2. Looking forward to more of your playthrough of Telltale's TWD; another one of their games well worth checking out is _The Wolf Among Us_ from 2013. 😁💜
I don't want to spoil anything else coming up, but since this choice you won't see now. If you tell Clem to look for Omid and Crista, it will carry on to S2. Since she's not going to look for them, you miss out on some content there in the beginning of S2. For the main plot it's not important but does fill in gaps for Clem and is important to her.
My first playthrough is completely different from you guys. I saved Doug and Lily, I was by myself looking for Clem in Savannah, and I didn't cut off Lee's arm. I didn't realize you could have a full party in Savannah until I saw other playthroughs on YT. This game is such a breath of fresh air and it's definitely A-tier TWD content. Can't wait for Season 2!
Lee's death will always be the saddest in video game history. I needed to find some tissue before ya'll started. This is probably my favorite in the season. Lee calling Clem sweetpea always make me tear up. I'm so excited for season two probably the best season.
Season 2 wasn’t that long of a wait. They also released 400 days in the summer of 2013 and episode 1 of season 2 came out December of that year. So about a year since 1.
So many of Dave’s choices were wild to me I won’t lie😭🙌 My guy how you gonna send Clem off like that when Omid and Christa are literally waiting for her🤣 10/10 GOATED playthrough. Lmfao, as someone who played this when the episodes FIRST dropped and has seen countless RUclipsrs play it since this has easily been one of my most enjoyable playthroughs of it. The guys are hilarious and already being walking dead fans beforehand made it even more special. I love the discussions and banter of the story 🙏🏻
season 1 of this game top tier ...ending made me cry over a decade ago the 1st time i played this and everytime i see or play this game and its ending it never fails to pull my tears out
Holy cr@p was it frustrating watching Dave fail near the end there. Literally only look on one side of the screen and being like " WhAT dO I dO??" Dude look to the flipping right of the screen, you know the ONLY place you didn't look the entire time. UGH. {facepalm}
I’d recommend playing the dlc 400 days before playing season 2. 400 days are a bunch of mini episodes. You can probably play all the mini episodes into 1 video bc all the dlc 400 days mini episodes combined is about the same length as 1 normal episode of season 1.
Fyi fellas the dramatic pause when Lee cleared the walkers before he entered hotel is cause he was looking at a familiar looking station wagon parked right in front of the motel. ie the car they got all those supplies they emptied out. Dont feel bad, i didnt realize it at first either. Love yall❤💞❤️
Wow. I understand it's all opinion-based, but I just can't comprehend thinking an 8-year-old is better off on her on than with Crista and Omid. If anything, at the end of the day, they both risked their lives to help Lee get her back. That's gotta count for something. But I understand they're also playing from the perspective of people who love the show, and that's guiding many of their decisions and that's fair.

Jesus 😂
29:00 that delivery of the voice actor was top notch, ben was an underutilized character!
The story starts and end with Lee in handcuffs.
Answer redeemed himself after that bird incident! Glad he was playing in that part haha
No fault of you guys but you missed the funniest moment, theres a choice right before the walkers get into the house where Christa says the house is sturdy then they break in and lee just says "sturdy my ass"
Idk what it is but even now as a grown man, lee dying still has water coming to my eyes
Wow, that was earlier than expected! Nice 👍
If I were to ever meet anyone in the apocalypse, I would want it to be people like Omid and Christa.
I was so sure I wouldn't cry this time. But then Lee hits us with the "I'll miss you" 😭
This was such an amazing first season. I'm really glad you guys are taking this journey. It only gets better from here. ❤
Rip Lee, you are greatly missed.
Can’t wait for them to play seasons 2, 3, and 4. This is by far the best of the Telltales game series
tbh the main reason for not cutting Lee's hand off is that the chopping your way through the walkers to get to Clem is even more badass if he's got both hands! this was a fun journey, can't wait to see the following seasons :)
i'm so surprised to see the 95/5 split on having Clem shoot Lee. i always tell her to leave him, it feels like, despite knowing what's coming, it's this last sliver of innocence Lee can allow her to have, his last chance to protect her; like even though she might have to do it later, she doesn't have to do it now, to Lee.
Lee's death was the first time i ever cried while gaming.
definitely play the season one dlc “400 days” before starting season two! it doesn’t contribute much to the overall story (new, unrelated characters), but i still liked it and appreciated the bonus content.
loved watching you play this game & am really looking forward to the next season! the first two seasons are my favorites 💛
It does offer some answers for some characters from season 1 and introduces a few for season 2. Specifically shows what happened to Vernon’s crew.
This AND Michonne, although Michonne can be played whenever.
"She's pregnant? Must have missed that."
Omid and Christa subtly, but indirectly, imply this multiple times.
Losing Lee is the first thing in a video game that ever made me cry, still does over a decade later too 😭
You guys should do 400 days then go into season 2 I can’t wait for it.

By far the saddest death and ending in walking dead history the fact you uploaded this on my birthday is perfect.
happy birthday
@@Aereton thanks.
🥳🥳🥳 happy bday!
@@tiffany02020thanks I just turned 20 today so I’m old now.
Didn't really affect them at all..hate that
So glad you’re not taking a break in between the different “game” seasons! Can’t wait to watch more!!
I was late on TWD show train - I binged all of it in one month with my fiancé in 2022 and it’s been one of my favorites ever since!
1:39:19 very glad to hear that you going straight for season 2 can't wait ❤
These guys have revived my obsession with this game 😭
I can't wait to see them play the rest of the seasons!! This season and the 4th one are especially my favorites.
One day I'll get back to it. Season 1 was absolutely incredible, but season 2 lost me and I never finished it.
Mason Quin never fails to remind me I would never want to be in an apocalypse with him 💀
such a tear jerker ending, thanks for playing TWDG season 1 as I enjoyed watching your playthrough the whole time
When you realize lee couldve been alone on his trip to find clementine at the hospital morgue, it makes sense that he was forced to do everything alone as the party stands around and asks questions (besides the fact you are the person playing). It's still silly, but that's why he does even more of Everything at that section than one might expect lol
I played the game many times over the years and I never knew that there was a post credit scene. 🤯
I've never seen lee get shot before during the fight with the stranger lol
If you don't kill the stranger clementine will kill him instead of lee
I’ve never been this early! Time to cry first thing in the morning 👌👌👌
I’m unbelievably excited for y’all to play season 2, I personally love the whole series up to the end, but season 2 is really something special
RIP LEE, he was a Real 1 ☝🏼 and Getting Clementine Killed counts for at least 10 Deaths Diamond Dave 😂.
I only played through this game once, and it's absolutely crazy to see how different things played out for you guys.
Another great Tell Tale Games game would be Wolf Among Us as well as the Batman series.
Season 2 is gonna be just as good! Get ready Guys : D!!!!! Awesome playthrough! This game is a timeless classic.
This has been my favorite playthrough of yours because of my connection to the game. I am excited for your season 2!
It was SO cool to experiance this game with you guys! CANT wait till you guys start season 2!!
I couldn't wait for this one, and thankfully I didn't really have to! Thanks for keeping these rolling out quickly, it's so fun to watch you guys!
It gets me every single time
Great watching as always! Can't wait for season 2!
The pregnancy thing... y'all don't pay attention haha. Lots of hints, abnormal behavior
Yes, we did have to wait for season 2. There was basically a 2 year wait between each season.
Lee's death will always be the saddest in video game history.
I needed to find some tissue before ya'll started.
This is probably my favorite in the season.
Lee calling Clem sweetpea always make me tear up.
I'm so excited for season two probably the best season.
Thank you guys very much!!!! I needed this today, especially since its the WALKING DEAD!!!
22:21 WHAT A MANEUVER!
Season 2 wasn’t that long of a wait. They also released 400 days in the summer of 2013 and episode 1 of season 2 came out December of that year. So about a year since 1.
So many of Dave’s choices were wild to me I won’t lie😭🙌
My guy how you gonna send Clem off like that when Omid and Christa are literally waiting for her🤣 10/10 GOATED playthrough.
Lmfao, as someone who played this when the episodes FIRST dropped and has seen countless RUclipsrs play it since this has easily been one of my most enjoyable playthroughs of it. The guys are hilarious and already being walking dead fans beforehand made it even more special. I love the discussions and banter of the story 🙏🏻
season 1 of this game top tier ...ending made me cry over a decade ago the 1st time i played this and everytime i see or play this game and its ending it never fails to pull my tears out
Holy cr@p was it frustrating watching Dave fail near the end there. Literally only look on one side of the screen and being like " WhAT dO I dO??" Dude look to the flipping right of the screen, you know the ONLY place you didn't look the entire time. UGH. {facepalm}
Yall better play the other seasons too
Wasn't expecting this to drop this soon! Thank you guys! Excited to watch these 2 hours and Excited for Season 2! :D
I’d recommend playing the dlc 400 days before playing season 2. 400 days are a bunch of mini episodes. You can probably play all the mini episodes into 1 video bc all the dlc 400 days mini episodes combined is about the same length as 1 normal episode of season 1.
Before you hop on to season 2, please do the 400 Days DLC, it's part of season 1 and you get even a little info about some side characters.
I was wondering if y'all noticed how Lee was getting more and more pale... he was literally turning grey. Sucks that he had to die man
Loved watching this all the way! Can't wait to see you guys tackle season 2
First time I played this game years ago, I balled my eyes out at the end.. 😭
Man, watching this like for 100 times, and still crying, this game is one of the best of history…
Off to season 2 . Ty so much for the reaction
If Lee had told Clementine to find Omid and Christa instead of not trusting anyone, the post credit scene would be different.
Really? I told her to find them and I remember the end scene being the same.
It's the same regardless
@@sergiopenaforte6842 No, it wouldn't. Stop lying to these people.
You guys have been playing for hours now but it’s felt so quick! Love love love your videos
Glad you guys uploaded this on my birthday. Can’t wait to see you guys gameplay for season 2.
YES! I have been living for watching you guys play this series
In my first playthrough I hid my bite from the group, left to look for Clem alone, and then chopped off my own arm 😭😭😭
That final scene with Lee breaks me every time😭
Wait, no one noticed that was Brie who came in the window that Lee hit in the head with cleaver before they went upstairs?
I love these guys, but they don't notice shit 🤣
Inverse controls for the win! Don't worry, Oak, we have your back xD
