- In this episode im going to build my own Astromech Droid with the lowest budget possible!
The objective of this build is to prove that it is really possible to make a functional Star Wars Droid with simple materials. The robot will be able to walk, rotate its head, make sounds and all this features will be controled from my cellphone using bluethoot signals.
The eletronic system of the droid is composed by arduino boards, modules, LEDs, sensors, a 3V motor, two electric power window motors(from a car window), and a 12V battery (9A).
The whole structure is made out of recycled materials like a bucket, a trash can and wood boards.
This is a very big project so it will be divided in two parts, for a better experience 👍 - Наука
This is a WONDERFUL build Vitor! Love all of your use of parts, and the creative way you are building something out of nothing! Bravo sir . . . Bravo!!!
The force is strong with this one!
I look forward to seeing the final result, most impressive.
Thanks a lot Man! the part 2 is already available: ruclips.net/video/jFdiuVT9JmY/видео.html

Parabéns pela criatividade e tbm pelo inglês que lindo!!!
Great JOB!
This is fantastic. I love it! But that black dot in the intro... I had to open another video to prove to myself that it was not on my screen. lol As I watched this build I realized that it is totally in keeping with what the rebels had to do in the Star Wars universe. They had to scrap things to use the parts to keep their equipment in working order. This is awesome to watch come together.
Hello there hyperthermogenic! I really appreciate it! I think this is the coolest part of Star Wars universe, using these recycled parts, greeblies and weathering, you have the power to give the droids and props a whole history! Sorry for that black dot, at the moment i published it, I didn't realize this problem. Now I'm trying new cameras, angles and editors to improve the quality of my videos. Thanks a lot for the feedback! 👍
Parabéns pela dedicação criatividade e pela excelente apresentação .

Wow! I saw star wars (a new hope- later) in '77 in the theater when there were big screens. I remember wanting to build my own too, but tech was not the same back then. I very much admire you for really doing what I never did! Awesome!
Thank you very much Richard! Man, it's never too late to try it! anyone can build one of these and there are simpler ways to do it! if you have the dream and time I'm sure you can build one!
