They could, in theory here, get rid off both Mac and Coach Belichick and completely clean house of coaches and staff for whoever Mr. Kraft decides to hire as HC and GM. However, Mr. Kraft could also have a decision to make on keeping one of them and tailoring the team towards that (keeping Coach Belichick and getting a QB that's not physically limited in regards to arm and mobility OR keeping Mac and trying 1 or 2 more years with a different HC to come up with ideas and strategies to ACTUALLY build around Mac with talent and an offensive scheme showing his strengths and giving him confidence to play good football).

Except for elite ones like Mahomes, burrow, Lamar, etc. but I mean you can’t just walk down the street to sign QBs like that haha. I’m not defending Mac at all he’s played bad to say the least but in his defense he has no chemistry with the receivers he’s playing with; Thornton can’t run a route to save his life (look at his cuts and brakes) he’s supposed to be the “speed” guy lol but he’s getting blanketed like white on rice. Ju ju has been dropping like half the passes, that last ball inside the numbers was perfectly placed, watch it back in slow time. Now we know why KC didn’t care be left lol. Reager is a bum, lost his chance in Philly for dropping balls lol and what does bill do??? Oh yeah thinks he’s smarter than every other organization and make him turn in a WR1 when he’s never been that guy. Only upside is Douglas but I’m worried with him returning punts it’ll be too much on his body, especially as a rookie. These WRs have the lowest separation in the league and have to be executed with tight window throws most of the time, yes mac had some bad overthrows but he’s an anticipation passer how is he supposed to execute with a guy like Thornton not beating the DB on a out route lol, mac gave the guy to much credit thinking he’d break off the DB that quick haha. It’s going to take a lot more than just a QB man, your a casual if you think sticking any college prospect QB in this offense and it’s going to fix it lol. This offense is like an open 12 gauge gun shot wound, putting a bandaid on it (with getting a new QB) won’t fix it is all I’m saying. It needs A TON of work. @@danielcecena1635 I love how Mac Jones stans always say "..I'm not making excuses for Mac.." and then proceed to make excuses.
So the rest of the offense is trash according to you (except when they beat the Bills). Is this why he has been missing open receivers? Are they so bad that he has no choice but to bail out of clean pocket and throw all the way across his body for a pick 6? Is the coaching so bad that it's causing him to still have atrocious footwork in year 3? Throwing floaters off his back foot.
If he doesn't have chemistry with his receivers that's on him. He even admitted that he needs to work on his communication with the receivers and the line. In year 3 he still doesn't know how to be on the same page with his teammates.
Finally, you mentioned some QBs that would have success. The question then becomes why should the Pats settle for a QB that requires number one players at every position? Not only is that not possible in a league with a Salary cap, what will happen when those players are injured?
He got the OC he cried for and he has failed miserably. He can't handle it. Pats have to move on. The longer they keep waiting on him to become good the longer they will be at the bottom at the AFC and a lot of careers will be ruined.

I listen to these shows and I wonder if any of these guys have ever played a down in their lives. Don't get me wrong, journalists should cover sports, even those they haven't played, but when you start giving coaching and playing advice...

OK, but the coaching and the playing aren't working. At all. If the team was winning super bowls still you would have a point, but they aren't. And your point is moot. Plus this is what the media does, and some of these guys are also good football guys. Not great, but they know what they are looking at and can discuss good and bad. I don't know what else you want them to do when this team is one of the worst 2-3 teams in the league right now, can't score on good drives, and can't defend against subpar competition.

this is a joke, the coaching and management have put him in a terrible position the past two years and now they're blaming a year 3 guy that they knew was limited instead of taking accountability and the evidence they have is a handful of bad plays per game with no oline and a receiving group that can't get open, if your qb has to play perfect to win then you're not going to win

Blaming a 24 year old young man for the mistakes of his head coach and owners. Bill is the leader, he was supposed to put Mac in the best position to be successful. That was Bill's motto. He didn't and the Krafts didn't open their pockets and get the right players to do that. Too bad Bill is immune from firing due to his successful history. As long as he's here this is what we got.
