Hi Francis. My name is Dave and I'm your latest sub 🎉🥳😀👋 Great video. Loved the content, loved the story and loved the humour. I'm new to the Hind so I love watching ppl such as yourself that can really fit it. I wonder, would it be possible to allow your subtitles to run for just a bit longer, please? Oldies like me are not as speedy as you young whipper snappers 😊 Seriously Great stuff. Thank you. I look forward to watching your back catalogue and all your future content. Cheers. Dave
You probably know this already, but as Kifter said - keep the target steady and as center as possible from launch to impact and also keep an eye out for Petrovich info about the designated target being in range ;)
Yessir! Yeah early on when I read that the periscope had a good range of swivel I took it to mean I should break off immediately after launch. Learned CPG since, and know the error of my ways :)
Great video sir, was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing your control set up so I can get that nice smooth hover check, thanks, looking forward to more videos
Right now I have a Warthog throttle, VKB MCG Pro grip with Gunfighter III base, and TFRP pedals. I got the 100 mm extension with the stick as well, so I fly with totally linear control curves on the stick without too much issue. Rudder curvature I generally set around 28-34 based on need/feel.
Nice flight Francis. What I would say is give your poor operator a chance! Keep the target steady and somewhere in the centre aiming circle after launch to increase your chances of a hit.
You got right up to it twice and managed to dodge its launches. SAMs have a minimum range and altitude and once you get inside that they cant fire. even if they do, you can change your angle by so much that they have a harder time hitting you. by breaking off and flying directly away youre giving it a much easier time hitting you, thats why it fires again at 08:21. it was open for a rocket run as you were breaking off.
@@flyingwithfrancis1104 any tips on TFRP settings(curves, deadzones etc)? Just started learning Hind and found vertical landing, hmm let's say, slightly different experience ;-) Also nice video of course!
The latest release can be downloaded here: github.com/dcs-liberation/dcs_liberation/releases All you have to do is download and then point to your DCS save locations, and then you're set.

I like the text instead of speech for a change! Enjoyed the video, keep it up, a lot of potential!

Thanks! Once I'm back I'll probably spend a day of practice just for ATGMs to build good habits.

Do you use pedals or twist? I would like know about your devices =)
I use the TFRP pedals right now, twist axis gets really uncomfortable with constant turn coordination in warbirds/helicopters!

How did you get a campaign with a Hind available in it? ON all the ones I tested there was never a HIND squadron.
DCS liberation has a few factions with Hinds on them, just make sure you have 4.1.1 or 5.0 downloaded and see what you can see :)
Nice! How you liking the hind?
It's my new favorite module for the moment, I've had tons of fun with it so far!
How can I get my hands on this campaign?

@@flyingwithfrancis1104 Thanks!
The sound is low. Hard to hear.
Noted, thanks
