The vintage design of the box looks like a plaque in a temple. The four characters read "Hu Guo Bi Min" meaning "Protect both the country and the people".
Don't leave the tea for too long, it will get bitter. first round 40 secs pour out in another pot, the second round 60 secs. A pot of tea can be brewed 4 times but im usually 3 times.
I have a love/hate relationship with Taiwanese cuisine. I try almost everything but only come back to a few things. My wife and I brought back some pineapple cakes as gifts for friends, but like you I find them too dry, and too many preservatives. I love most taro treats, but, no surprise, I prefer them fresh. Mostly what I brought back for my friends in the food department was candy (even though a lot of candy you find in Taiwan is actually from Japan). Kuo Hua in Richmond BC is the place to go for Taiwan groceries near me.
Sadly wanting fresh and not as dry pineapple cakes, usually means going to local bakeries in Taiwan, and not buying those gift boxes kind. As those can be a hit or miss(depending on the shop) with how much preservatives they add...

喝茶....隨意就好,熱水別太久,一般春茶第一泡10秒就倒出,別喝
第二泡約25~30秒、第三泡加個10秒....沒香氣就結束
像烏龍茶就更隨意了....顏色別過深,都可以.....

現在最好的茶其實不用到掉第一泡,過去會倒掉第一泡是過去茶葉後製技術不成熟,還有很多雜質。
現在茶葉後製技術成熟,第一泡其實才是最好的。
@@dilogram 可能是習慣問題,我的茶齡到目前34年,習慣茶壺先倒一半的熱水便倒掉,是要讓茶先受熱好撐開,因為我大多都泡半青熟(極品茶才一定選青茶或三分茶),不然如上面的茶友泡個25~30秒,茶葉通常還沒撐開,味道沒有全出,到下次沖水才有機會把茶葉撐開,所以我的習性是第一泡(洗茶我都不稱第一泡)50秒,後續每加5至10秒不等。
我的習慣不代表任何人。
淺發酵茶,建議水溫不要超過90度~~
第一泡茶要潤杯的!沒有喝這一口!基本倒掉它,先洗杯子!

我是台灣大甲人,大甲是台灣西海岸區域,所以是延海區域芋頭是種在田園裡不是在山上,用芋頭食材可以做很多食品,芋頭米粉湯、芋頭冰、芋頭餅、芋頭球、芋頭蛋糕各種甜點只要能搭配都很好吃,大甲芋頭的口感較鬆較香與台灣其他區域的芋頭口感完全不同

那個鳳梨酥盒子上寫的是"護國庇民",由右往左讀的
喝茶,開心舒服最重要。大多量是餔平,泡的時間大約是1分鐘、30秒、1分鐘、之後要拉長時間。
不過量不足或過多,時間也要調整。
其實喝茶不用太多限制,想喝冷泡、熱泡、混合都很可以。
我甚至會直接把茶葉丟入馬克杯中,邊泡邊喝。

第一泡比較澀所以通常沒有在喝,可以用第一泡的茶來洗杯子,洗完杯子可以拿洗過的杯子給客人聞一聞味道,就像喝酒前可以聞一聞酒香一樣

甜點配茶真的蠻不錯的,有甜點會做的很甜就是要搭配茶,可以解膩。
茶葉要放多少其實很容易,茶壺底部填滿一層然後不重疊就差不多,因為大部分傳統茶壺都有計算過,也可以從茶葉泡完以後觀察,所有葉片都充分展開剛好填滿茶壺這樣就差不多了,剩下只要控制時間這樣就比較容易了.
記得泡茶用具裡會多準備一個水瓶,把泡好的茶水倒入水瓶內,要喝茶就從水瓶裡倒,避免茶葉泡越久茶水越澀的特性。至於把第一泡茶倒掉好洗淨雜質的動作,有聽說是以前茶葉不好的關係,現在好像不需要這麼做。以及手搖杯因為成本問題,茶葉很多都不是用台灣茶葉泡的。還有台灣加工食品寫得應該是製造日期,而不是保存期限,包裝後面應該會寫可保存多久,像是餅乾類應該可保存到一兩年沒問題,什麼什麼酥應該是一周至一兩個月都有可能。
如果對茶有興趣又不想看一堆文獻資料之類的,推薦kiya季雅的《異人茶跡》漫畫,講述外英國商人與中國買辦如何把台灣烏龍茶推向國際,如果是要看作者吐槽台灣現在手搖杯風氣的話,推薦看茶家趣聞繪系列三本書,雖然這是無出版社、自費印刷、成書有段時間、僅在販售會及網上賣的書,取得可能不易,但是粗略講手搖杯現狀還是挺有趣的一套書。

在台灣有些食品標示日期是~最佳賞味期並不是過了日期就不能吃,當然也不能過期太久。台灣食品安全法相對還是嚴格的,通常標定的日期都是趨保守而安全的,因為現代人對食安健康還是非常重視的。就像有標榜不放任何防腐的新鮮糕點都會要求顧客在2~3天內吃完,並且買了回到家就必須馬上冷藏,包裝盒內也會放小的保冷劑袋。
包裝都很精緻,尤其是護國庇民那包
茶壺加茶葉後,第一次加入熱水後將茶水倒入杯子稱爲溫杯,並可聞一下杯子的餘香。

看過長辈泡茶、第一次熱水倒下茶壼內的茶葉內後.就把熱茶水倒在小小杯子上(放在盤子上接水)温熱燙一下小小杯子(杯內水也倒掉)、茶水倒完、壶內没水後.第二次倒熱水才正式喝茶.

這種點心早期做的很乾很甜就是為了可以存放久一點,現在雖然在口感跟甜度做了改良,但上面標示主要是最佳賞味期限,只要沒受潮,過期幾天不要緊。

🧐🤔茶葉要茶壺的三分之一量開水有完全煮沸!水過茶壺立馬上蓋第一泡45-60秒及可!因為第一泡不能完全煮開茶葉咖啡因含量會很高晚上不易入眠!第二泡約90秒左右讓茶葉完成釋放開來!第三泡90秒以上通常一泡茶約沖4次左右味道還不錯啦!😄😆😁

The tea leafs are in chunks bc each leaf is hand rolled. So it’s a whole leaf as opposed to the left over bits of leafs in tea bags.
