Reroute to Remain was my first impression of them, and I got mesmerized of course! I've got to go back in time and explore their albums. Damn, The Jester Race and Colony (my favourite) still take me back to my high school and "post-days".

My first album is Clayman, then backward to Whoralce, The Jester Race and Lunar Strain. I think I replayed their first 5 albums for at least 1000 times and my favorite one is The Jester Race. I still remember in 2008 they released A Sense of Purpose and how disappointed I was😂. Anyway I'm gonna enjoy their live this Sunday for the FIRST time in my life and I think you can feel my excitement.🤩

I fell in love with this band back when I was falling in love with a girl. I decided to change whom I was to impress her. I started listening to metal instead of just classic rock. I heard a song from In Flames on a metal station on Direct TV (Cloud Connected). They slowly evolved into my favorite band and haven't lost that slot in all these years. 17 years from that moment, they're still my favorite band. I've gone to several concerts and I even met them in person!

That's unfortunate, they still have a lot of good stuff after 2008 so hopefully you at least gave it a chance. That said, still always throw Colony on at the tip of a hat.

Скандинавский метал - сила! Столько любимых команд, даже трудно перечислить. Dimmu Borgir, Immortal, In Flames, Saturnus, Draconian, Amorphis... много ещё, особенно Black / Doom.
Look.. I'm a huge melodic death metal guy.. but I love metal in general at the same time. Clayman had some fantastic tracks in spite of what elitism will tell you. Whoracle was fantastic, Jester Race, Lunar Strain.. but Clayman and even Come Clarity had some bangers.
i once was at their concert and it was very disappointing, they didn't play anything from lunar strain, subterranean, jester race or whoracle. I'm ashamed to wear an in flames shirt, because they are so bad now.

these were the best In Flames songs, why they became rubbish now! their new stuff are so mainstream (similar to what happened to Bring Me The Horizon).
Have you checked out Halo Effect yet? It is all the old members of In Flames and sounds like it! they have released 2 songs so far and they are both excellent.
