Legendary dj
A lot of Veteran Deejays had so much respect and admiration for Nicodemus. You can tell Demus was a likable Dude too. I have the Duo Album with him and Toyan together as well as his 12 inch single Eagles Feather on The Sleng teng rhythm produced by King Jammy's.

At no time the word reggae music doesn't come from your mouth and if you did old enough to talk to a man like that he would told you he was doing reggae
He was dancehall like super cat. But I understand your point. 🙏
Briggy or demus or josey no matter the caliber of great deejays that graced the mic ..those 3 were the kings in the 80s ...id like to see a video on Saxon Sound from London focus on Peter King who is said to be the fast style originator..good video ✊🏿
Ok seeen seen

I recently purchased The album 💿- “Cabin Stabbin” that joint is a classic for real straight fire 🔥! I had never heard the album before didn’t even know it existed only knew the single - “Cabin Stabbin” which was a classic song but found out there was a collaboration album with Super Cat, Junior Demus, and Nicodemus. Later on they would add Junior Cat to complete the album 💿- “The Good, the bad, the ugly, and the crazy.” Another underground classic straight fire 🔥 as well especially on the production side wish these albums were rereleased and remastered on all streaming platforms period!
Yea Fam that would’ve been great
@@wildlifegully48 great channel keep up the good work 👊🏾 🫡 🤯!
Great review, that was real dancehall vibes, what they call dancehall nowadays is pure garbage pure nonsense pure noise, big up the I continually. Nicodemus was a yout that would give you continuous lyrics throughout the whole night till next morning, dem idiot so call D J nowadays say one thing cuss two wud and dem lyrics done. Pure trash.
Yea Fam up 🔥💯💯
The fast Style was originated around the Saxon sound System from London England by a DJ called Peter King with mi Neat and mi sweet Papa Levi (Philip Levi) took it to great heights with Mi God Mi King. Levi was the first Dj who took the number 1 spot in the Charts in Jamaica who wasn't from Jamaica. Daddy Colonel came with Mi Black mi no brown Smiley culture Asha senator Tipper Irie all had great hits With their own Versions. Even own 2 man combinations. At at times in dancehall dances you could see and hear 5 man Combination on a Fast style Especially when it came to the studio one selection. I guess that a lot of people don't know that Peter King was the first Dj with the fast Style years before the great Papa Sand.
Thanks for this information 🙏
The person who’s in video is giving the history of the fast style is wrong Nicodemus never Dj a fast style. one thing I would say that Saxon Dj was the 1st to write full composition in fast style. But Donovan from stereophonic back in 1979 -80 use to have a style cal general general he use to do it on the general rhythm b4 Saxon Dj’s and B4 papa San.
The man is talking about the fast style when demus was along with yellow man a slow style DJ.
Bredda you gave us the history of Demus tunes , but you not telling people how him get the world wide Buss , it was the Clash between him and Brigadier Jerry on Jack Ruby sound that gave him the world wide Buss,
