this is a great video, he was great from the very beginning way waaay back. I didn't hear his voice til 1987, a whole new style of sound for me. .30 yrs later he keeps getting better. A true musician.
@lilstkngal I'm from what you think as...the future and I couldn't agree with you more! Almost 40 years after Mr. Isaak's breakthrough and he is still rocking 🎸
You might have seen the other comments, but this is the houseband of the TV show. From what I've heard there was an argument as like many artists Chris wanted to use playback, but the TV show had a rule that the music must be live. The claim is also that Chris was impressed enough with the houseband that he tried to talk them into doing a tour with them. I'm not sure if this have been confirmed though.
They are some Swedish musicians in a Tv-show called Nöjesmassakern back in the 80s. When Chris Isaak got to the TV-studio he thought he would just do a play back performance, but the producers refused him to do so and instead he had to play it live. Afterwards Chris Isaak wanted the band to follow him on a tour. I've no idea how that ended.
The arrangement on the song Fire S2 playing instruments sound pretty good the singing sucks really bad Chris Isaak sings okay if he was singing maybe his own songs this song I sound 10 times better at singing this song Misty train do not sing Elvis songs unless you can compete and sound great at it. My opinion he's horrible I'm sorry folks sorry folks just the way feel
Dude is an amazing singer who’s style is difficult to replicate. His dynamics, range, and breath control are top notch. You should really watch live performances of his material.
this guy is a horrible pick up, he has an asma as he sings, out of tonality, It can be seen here that singing is below the average and thanx god for Stray Cats!!!
Oh Wow! Much Love from Australia 🇦🇺🙏♥️😘

THAT'S WHAT CHRIS IS!!!!!!!!!!!! #AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!

Just saw him at the Hard Rock in Tulsa with his band for the 5th time .They are good
So did I. It was the first time I have seen him.
Woohoo!
love it!
Nice song. Thanks, men. 👏🏻👍
This is not Chris band.
This is people from the swedish television.
This appears to be a different band than Silvertone, so chances are this precedes his first album and his breakthrough in the U.S. that same year.

@@perosterlund773 @chim reynolds No tour, but we had great fun both in the TV-show and later that night. / Finn guitar in the clip
Éntrale con mas decición... como hace el guitarrista.
a Elvis tune without Scotty Moore guitar parts...only half as good
