Why did Sweden and King Gustavus Adolphus enter the 30 years war?

This man was a true badass. Last time I was in Sweden I visited his granite tomb which took about 28 years to make. I also read a bit about him in a book about legendary commanders and there was a quote there from this Scottish mercenary called Alexander Leslie who fought for him and it read something like “the bravest commander men ever had”

He also took that name Lion from the north himself becouse of a prophecy a german scientist told in early 1500 about a Lion from the north comming to save the world from an Eagle But after the Lion had won the world would end! So Gustav who was kind of a spirutal person took that prophery and said that was about him! :D also in his coronation he dressed as a Goth! Not those who dress in dark But those who sackt rome!
