- In 1989 Michael Keaton was BATMAN and now in 1990 his Bruce Wayne became an action figure.
Quick Change Armor Bruce Wayne into Batman. This figure was also released for Batman Returns 1992 with amazing artwork on the cardback. I open one up fresh and show his amazing quick change feature where he can put on all the costume pieces to become Batman. And we try him out in a very special playset as well!

Those are serious oven mit gloves. Bat-Cookies need taken out of the oven though.
I remember I used to draw eyeballs in the standard Batman figures to make it look like the movie. 😂
Ha ha ha I can understand that. The all white eyes is a very comic book thing. Plus in the cartoon. The movie ones should have had pupils really.
One of my favorite Batman figures as a kid.
Funny enough in The Batman 89 comic that came out last year they recreate that Cardart for a suit up scene.
It makes a lot of sense to who they are appealing to for a comic like that.
I am enjoying the nostalgic trips and I hope others are sharing it here.
No offense to 80's and 90's batman fans of this but damn he looks worse than travis scott's batman costume
Oh it looks bad with the suit on. And even as Bruce Wayne he is a little goofy and long necked.
I wonder if Michael Keaton sold his likeness rights to Kenner because it made a good payoff, or he insisted the toys look like him. I can see that happening
Usually the toy companies are waiting ready to do their likeness and only don't do it by request not to. So he must have given the go ahead because even the Batman figures in masks have his mouth. And this is clearly him drawn on the box as well.
dark knight of the round table and field test gothan knight anime are Amazing, Ash Williams (Army of darkness) or Guts / Gatsu (berserk) have the Armor final suit

His jaw line always looked off to me. It wasn't until this video that I out two and two together. He looks how Roger Ebert looked after he lost his jaw.
It is a tiny jaw and I don't know why, because the neck is plenty long. They could have had it a bit bigger. It makes the egg-head look worse once the cowl is on also.

That problem is mostly with the Returns version of Bruce. The 1990 Dark Knight Collection release had a better looking head sculpt. Something must have happened during the later castings of this figure.

That is one amusing Batman toy. A dress up action figure for boys indeed. His suit and other parts looks good separately I say.

Best displayed separate on the figure and armor. If this is the dress up doll then Wayne Manor is the doll house! Loved both. I am hoping to find a few missing pieces before doing the video on it if possible.
